A/N: I've been waiting to write/post this chapter for soooo long and it's finally here! I just love this chapter and I hope you do too. Make sure to comment your thoughts and if there are any errors, feel free to point them out! Thanks and enjoy!

Lily sat on the couch watching the news with her brother. “And next, a child abandoned in a home. Local news reporters say that the neighbor heard the child crying and went to see what was wrong. They say the parents left an hour prior with bags packed. Investigators are working now to find the parents.”

“Bro?”

“What?”

“Do you think mom and dad are coming back?”

He sighed, “No. We don’t even know why they left.”

“I can’t believe they would do that!”

“Lily stop. We’ve been over this.”

“I’m just so pissed!” She got off the couch.

“Get over it Lily! Face it! They’re never coming back and we’re just going to have to deal with that! OK?!?!”

She was shaking and ran out the front door.

“Lily! Wait!” She ran to the end of the street and slumped against the stop sign crying. Once all the tears were gone she got a text from Michelle. FWD: Party at Jaclyn’s house! FREE ALCOHOL! 2576 Edgewood Drive. Be there!

--------

Carmela laid on her bed listening to her mom crying in the kitchen. It’s Friday night and I’m stuck here listening to this. She sighed, she wanted to escape, but how. Just then her phone vibrated and she checked the text: There’s a party at Jaclyn’s tonight. Want to go?

As much as she hated Jaclyn, she hated being at her house more. Sure, see you there. She replied.

-----------

Dex drove up to Jaclyn’s street there was already a line of cars all the way down the street. Damn Jaclyn, you know how to bring in a crowd. He found a place to park and got out of his car. The music was loud and the bass was heavy, he could hear the thumping even from how far he parked. When he entered the house he saw that the living room was full of teens grinding and dancing to the music. The kitchen was also occupied with teens playing beer pong. Amongst that crowd he saw Mark. Must be here for the beer. Now I have to find Jaclyn.

------------------------

Mark was chugging down a cup of beer when he spotted someone entering the room. ”Gossip Girl!”

She rolled her eyes, “It’s Lily.”

“Yeah yeah. Want to play?”

“Beer pong?”

“Yeah it’s fun!”

“I don’t know.”

“C’mon.”

“Ok.”

----------------

Where did Lily go? She told me she was just going to get a drink, Carmela thought. As she searched for her friend she ran into Dex. “Carmela! What are you doing here?”

“Just getting out of the house. I know why you’re here.”

He laughed, “Yeah, have you seen Jaclyn?”

She shook her head, “I just got here.”

“Well I need to find her. Have fun!” He smiled and walked away.

Jaclyn does not deserve him.

------------

She had already had quite a few beers and was now taking shots of vodka. “WOOOOO!” She screamed. It had been a while since she had been drunk like this. She stumbled around and fell down. A kid who’s name she thought was Nicholas helped her up. “Thanks,” she slurred and with a sudden random impulse she leaped onto him and began to make out with him. He was very surprised but did not fight off her advances as they went down the hall and into her bedroom. They were laying on her bed still fully clothed, still making out when Dex walked in. “What the FUCK?!”

“Uh Dex! It’s not what it looks like!”

“Don’t give me that bullshit Jaclyn! You’re such a whore! We’re through you cheating bitch!” With that he stormed downstairs.

“Dex!”

----------------

Carmela could not find Lily so she headed out to the back porch. Nobody was there so it was a little less quiet than the inside where music was rattling the walls. She sat down in the corner where there was no light, maybe I can sleep. She laughed at the thought. I need to find Lily, she thought. But before she could get up to go inside, Dex stepped onto the porch. He was pacing and he looked pissed. “Stupid whore,” He mumbled. “Everything alright?” Cammie asked. He jumped, “You scared me! No nothing is right.” She patted the seat next to her and he sat down. “I just saw Jaclyn cheating on me!”

“No!”

“Yeah. God I’m and idiot.”

“No you’re not!”

“I knew I shouldn’t have trusted her. I knew people called her a whore for a reason.”

Cammie rubbed his back, “It’s ok. You aren’t the only guy to fall into her trap.”

“She was a stupid decision. We had nothing but physical attraction.”

Carmela listened as he went on about Jaclyn.

”It’s fine we all make mistakes.”

“That’s not what I’m most upset about. It’s the fact that she told me she stopped cheating and there she goes making out with some guy she probably doesn’t even know.”

“It’s hard but you’ll get through it.”

“Cammie you’re just a great person.”

“Oh believe me I’m not.” She looked at the floor.

“How bad can you be?”

That’s when she broke down. She was crying hard and Dex wrapped his arms around her. “Shhhh. What’s wrong?” It was his turn to comfort her.

“Everything!”

“Tell me.”

“Well, a couple of years ago my dad packed his bags and left. No warning, no reason and nothing left behind. It was me and my mom. She tried, Dex, she tried to make everything better, but she couldn’t do it! She drank. Every day she drank beer, liquor, wine, you name it and she became addicted. I couldn’t take it! That’s when I……”

“You what?”

“I started smoking pot.”

He looked surprised, “You smoke pot?”

She nodded, “You’re probably disgusted.”

He shook his head, “No I’m not, but I do want you to stop.”

“It just takes the pain away! You don’t know what it’s like to live my life!” She started to cry again and he held her tight in his arms.

“It’s going to be ok.”

She looked up at him, “How do you know?”

“I just know ok?”

Their faces were just inches apart. They both leaned in when Jackie busted through the door.

“Dex!”

“What?”

“Was I interrupting something?”

“Um n-n-no,” Cammie stuttered.

“Actually you were Jaclyn!” Dex said turning to Cammie. He pulled her close and gave her a passionate kiss.
