6~Not So Evil Queen

Regina's P.O.V.

I watch Emma and Hook walk out of the movies together. It makes me want to gag when I see them together, not even caring about the pain they have inflicted upon me. The pain I can inflict upon them, however, is much greater.

I continue watching them, yearning for the moment when Milah finally interrupts their last moment. Emma and Hook kiss, which is what brings Milah out of the shadows.

'Its about time' I think to myself.

"Milah?" I hear Hook say.

"Killian!" she exclaims as she runs up to hug him.

I adjust myself so I can see Emma's face. She looks at Milah, then at Hook. Her face completely drops. She looks absolutely broken.

She runs away from Hook and Milah's reunion as fast as she can, and Hook calls after.

"Swan!" he calls.

'Typical Emma and Hook' I think.

Except Emma doesn't let Hook go after her this time.

I can't believe what I've done. I should feel happy right? I got my revenge, but I'm not in the least bit satisfied.

"Regina?" a familiar says from behind me," what's wrong?"

It's Snow. It must be clear that I feel awful right now.

"I've done a horrible thing," I whisper sadly.

"What was it this time?" Snow asks, sitting down across from me by the door of the library.

"I ruined your daughters life," I say shamefully.

Snow sighs.

"How?" she questions.

"Well I went to the past, and I brought back Hook's first love, Milah, to interfere with her love life like she did mine." I reply softly, but full of regret.

"And was it worth it?" Snow asks.

"No," I respond," not at all. When I saw Marian, I was completely crushed. My heart shattered. No pain I've felt has ever compared to that. I finally had thought that I had my happy ending, and it was gone in an instance. I was so angry with Emma that I just, flipped. I had to get revenge. Every other time that I've gotten hurt, I have avenged that pain, so why should this time be any different? I was expecting to be filled with joy when I saw the look on Emma's face, but I wasn't. Not even in the slightest. All it did was remind me of when I had that same situation. And now I just don't know what to think or do."

"I think that in life, we just have to try our hardest, and let fate do the rest. You have to trust that if you and Robin were meant to be together, then everything will turn out fine. If you weren't meant to be together, then everything will still turn out fine. You have to find your destiny, you can't keep trying to ruin others," Snow says wisely.

"You're right," I whisper," thank you. I need to go and speak with someone."
