Crimson Clover

There once was a king of golden ages

Kissed by great fortune and rich silver ore

He was brutal, his temper outrageous

A black-hearted mind, rotten to the core

He treated his nation with gruesome spite

Bathing in gore, spilling blood on his frill

So the people prayed for a gallant knight

Sent by righteous forces, the king to kill

Their pleading heard, there came a man so brave

He fought the King on the green castle lawn

When his crowned head rolled down the stony nave

They reveled ten days, for the king was gone

His gray body lowered to clammy ground

Crimson clover covering his grave mound
