A/N: due to me wanting to speed things up, we are skipping Artemis' song.
Percy's POV:
As Artemis walked up I watched her fidget slightly under the gaze of so many people.
'She probably isn't used to having to sing in front of so many males' Iota said and I nodded mentally
I watched as she spoke to Apollo for a moment before she took the stage and started singing 'Single Ladies'. I laughed slightly but knew she would pick this song. After the song, she quickly walked off of the stage and over to me causing me to smile.
"Does Arty have a little bit of stage fright?" I said condescendingly causing her to glare slightly
"Yes, but there were males looking at me like a piece of meat. And father has put a limit on how many males I'm able to castrate per month" she said and my eyes narrowed as two guys walked over
One of them was the one that tried to hit on Skyla earlier, whereas the other guy was new.
"So, I hear you are the girl's 'bodyguard'" the new guy said to me and I looked at him
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, what's it to you?" I responded as the guy sneered
"I'm sure lord Chaos would allow me and my friend here to court his beautiful daughter, if only for a few minutes" he said as he tried to push me aside but I grabbed the guy's hand and twisted it behind his back and pushed him to the ground
"Lord Chaos told me to keep any and ALL suitors away from Princess Skyla, if you think you can court her, talk to Chaos himself but until then stay the hell away or I'll make you fade" I threatened as I got of him and stood next to Skyla and Artemis
"Perseus, if you want, you can have some... quality time with Artemis..." Skyla said slyly "Phoenix will be able to keep the suitors away" she finished and Artemis looked at me with soft silver eyes
"You sure?" I asked her and she chuckled
"Go ahead, like you said, I could kick them to Pluto and back without even batting an eyelash" Skyla said and I nodded before walking out of the throne room with Artemis
When we got out, I grabbed her hand and started walking toward the garden. A place that always shone in the moonlight. When we arrived in the garden it was illuminated by the moon and I smiled.
"Percy, im worried... we didn't have much peace after the Titan war, If what I think is going to happen, I don't want to lose t want to lose you..." Artemis said as we reached a small creek and sat down
"I won't leave you again, I promise, besides, you make me feel invincible, earthquake powerful, like a tidal wave, you make me brave" I sing lightly as I lean over and kiss her before taking her hand and moving it up my left side and stopping just under my pit where my mortal point was "your my titanium, you're the one who pulled me up out of the Styx" I whisper to her and she looks at me wide eyed
"Percy..." she said quietly "do you really trust me that much?" She said and I saw her lip quivering slightly and I smiled
"Of course, I would give my life for you, and not just because it's my job, but I mean willingly, I would willingly give my life for you" I said gently as I kissed her lips gently
Artemis tackled me in a hug and climbed onto me before leaning close to me and kissed me.
"Percy... I'm willing to break my vow for you, I was willing to break it the day you died..." Artemis said and my eyes widen but I notice her nervousness
"Are you sure Arty?" I ask and she nods and I notice a tear fall down her cheek "Okay, but not now, I want you to be ready, I will also talk to Chaos at letting you keep the hunt" I finished and she looked at me
"You... don't want me?" She asked scared and I held her cheek softly
"I do, but I want you to be ready, you are the only one for me and I would be an idiot to turn you down, but I don't want you to rush things. I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon" I finish as I kiss her gently and she laid her head on my chest
"Thank you..." She said and I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her
"Anytime Arty, Anytime" I said and felt myself drift off into the realm of Hypnos with Artemis next to me
