I was only twenty when we first met. Our first meeting was like a collision of stars. Two opposing, passionate balls of gas that only really thought of ourselves and how we could each individually burn brightest. I was a hot-headed pre-med that only cared about my career, while you- you were the fun-loving, casual business major clad in suits with a minor drinking problem. So different, yet as if we were meant to collide and explode, the biggest way the galaxy has ever seen. And as I look back, maybe I can consider the idea that we weren't on the same path-meant to be- but rather we pushed ourselves to be out of sheer passion to love and to be in love.
