Chapter 19: Daydreaming

I honestly don't know what to do then. All I felt was serenity that was brought by his embrace. I didn't want to move, I didn't want to end that, that beautiful moment with Lay... with Yixing.

He finally pulled off, and so I did. He assisted me to stand and then he asked me, "Are you okay? Can you stand with your own feet?"

"Of course! I ca—“ I almost fell but then, Lay grabbed me.

"Well, I think you can't." He said to me, with a grin on his face. He back faced me and I felt clueless.

I heard him giggled. He shook his head and then he grabbed my hands then he put it on his shoulders, "Just ride on my back. I won't mind it."

As I wrapped my arms against him, I felt nervous. My heart raced so fast then, I hoped he didn't notice. Am I too heavy for him? Isn't this too much already? He doesn't have to do this. I could call a taxi to get home.

"Why were you crying?" He asked suddenly.

I haven't given him an answer at first for I was busy brewing my thoughts. So he faked a cough.

"Uh? Um..." I bit my lip. "I was terrified."

And then even before he could throw another question, I threw mine, "H-how did you find me?"

He breathed heavily before he could answer me.

"I was nervous too when I discovered when you got lost. Everyone else panicked." He paused then, "So I ran as fast as I could into who knows what direction." I felt his smile as he finished his words.

"And then, after doing so many searches, I finally found the girl I was looking for." He said.

I loosed my grip; I even lost his grip too. I was shocked. T-the girl he was looking for?

He turned around to me. I was stunned; I can't even move a muscle. I felt my whole body froze, even my soul, even the time.

"What a shame that I couldn't even protect you but I hope you'll give me a chance to prot—“ Lay held both of my hands and then he continued, "I want to protect you, Summer."

And that was one of the best daydream I had.

He, Lay, snapped me, "Are you still there?"

I was still riding on his back. We haven't talked since he I rode on his back; everything was just on my mind.

"Ah, ne." I replied.

I could see the other 11 from a far. They were waiting for us at the parking lot.

I could see Chanyeol rushing towards us. "Yah! Yah! Is she okay?" He asked Lay.

"Yah! Oppa, I'm okay." I beamed a smile at him.

I saw Chanyeol's cheek flushed pink, it was cute. Although I told him that I was okay, the truth was I am not really. I was still dizzy then.

Lay put me down and then Kai held me by my arm and then said, "You should have your rest now, Summer."

And then Kai assisted me to get in into their van. Suho and DO helped me too. Sehun opened the door then Chanyeol rushed inside to help me to get inside.

Chanyeol was on my right then DO was on my left. Kai sat down next to the driver and then Suho, Baekhyun and Sehun sat in the front row of us.

I felt Chanyeol's hand on my head. I glanced at him, he was enjoying the view on his window and then he spoke softly, "Just sleep on my shoulders. Take a rest first, Summer."

He was so manly then. Although he didn't even glance at me, I knew that he was sincere. And so I did, I didn't complain, I just closed my eyes and then I peacefully fallen asleep.

The sun greeted me even if my eyes were still close. It was so sunny that I couldn't bear to open my eyes then. But someone did it for me.

"Ahh! You're awake already! How are you feeling?" Chanyeol asked.

Woah? What is this fella doing here? Did he sleep here?

"I didn't sleep here," He motioned his hands a 'no, I really didn't sleep here' and then he said, "I came here early. I even brought you a breakfast." He pointed out.

Did he just read my mind? "Ah, kamsahamnida." I bowed my head.

"Ah, no worries. Mind to have breakfast with me?"

I eyed him with a confused look and then I studied my room too and then, I saw bags on the table which I believe that was the food brought by Chanyeol. "Uh... Sure!"

"But hey!" I called him again, "I'll just do some of my morning routines." And then I rushed inside my CR and then I quickly took my towel.

I took a shower, I watched my face and I brushed my teeth and then I'm done. I stared at myself at the mirror and then I asked if this was all true. I lightly slapped my cheeks and then I realized it was all true.

I sat right beside Chanyeol. We were just sitting on my couch as we watch a cartoon movie on my Television.

"This food was prepared by Kyungsoo and Chen. They even said hi. I hope you'll like it." Chanyeol said as he gave me the food.

I wore a big smile as I saw the food. It really looks so delicious! Omonay!~

"Looks like you really liked it, huh?" I just nodded, still wearing a smile. "I like your space. The atmosphere here is nice."

"Ah?" My eyes roamed around the room. I saw my bed, the table nearby it, the doors for the terrace and for the cr, the tv and my other stuff. "Really? Thanks!"

"Though it's just a small space, it's really nice here." He added.

I just smiled at him and then we continued eating our food.

"Are you free on the 22nd?" He asked in all of a sudden. "We'll celebrate Sehun and Luhan's birthday."

"Why does it have to be in the 22nd? Today's Sehun's day, right?" I asked.

"It's because later we'll have our flight to China. We'll hold a fan meeting there. We'll be able to return here on the 21st." He said.

T-they will fly to China... Later?

"Uh..." I start to talk.

"So, is it okay with you to go out with me today? Like uh yeah, today. With me. Go out. Um..." He talked very fast and I'm surprised.

I don't know what to do. "Uh... Um... Sure." I finally answered.

I saw his eyes grew bigger, he was surprised too. “A-are you sure? Omo!” Then he suddenly got up from his seat and he even jumped several times, he was really happy.

He waited for several minutes outside while I was busy preparing. I just wore a lacy-dress, a half inch above my knee and a pair of flat shoes. I pulled my hair into a pony tail and I even put a little amount of colors on my face.

“Hey!” I called him.

I saw he dropped his jaw before he said, "You look wonderful."

He walked towards to me and then he offered his arm, "Let's go?"

"Let's go." I beamed a smile.

A/N: I'm sorry if it took me forever to update, I just can't do any update in the fast few days because I can't use my computer. So I'll try to update again to make it up. :)
