I could
That would be immensely...
Ordinarily...
Wonderful.
If I did...
And it happened
That would be w o n d e r f u l
Because that 'if'
Would give its glory to 'I did'
And that 'would'
Would turn into 'was'
Because,
There is so much hate for that word
That short and slippery 'if'
Those two letters that sneak into every sentence -
Conversation
Thought
Doubt
Worry
Fear
Hope -
There is so much hope in that word
Enough to live a life of delusion
Enough to live a life with motivation
Desperation
Disappointment.
