my m-shift 🌟

what is an m-shift? m-shifting is short the term mental shifting, which therians use to become more in tune with their therian type. it usually is brought on by manipulating the five senses (smell, touch, taste, hearing, sight) to whatever their therian type would normally see.

for example, i'm a neko. my therian type is feline, but specifically housecat. here's how i'd use my senses.

smell: since cats actually have twice as many smelling receptors as humans, they have a heightened sense of hearing. so, i'd just put more strong smells in my room. smudging sage, burning strong candles, go out in nature more, etc. i'll also use a subliminal and maybe a spell to enhance/change my receptors.

touch: well, i don't have whiskers, nor do i have ears or a tail yet. but, i can pet my cat and act like it's my tail? i have no idea how to do this one lol.

taste: usually, cats can't eat fish. it can cause health problems, but they can have a little bit every once in awhile. since i'm sort of human/sort of cat i can have fish. i'll also eat green leaves, fruit (i can taste it, unlike a full cat), cheese, and bread. regular house cats can have fully cooked fish/meat since raw will make them sick. luckily, i love fish, so there isn't a problem. (the funny thing is, i hate the taste of milk.

hearing: cats can actually hear pretty well, and so can i. i'm thinking of doing a subliminal if i have the chance to heighten this sense. but i'm pretty okay with how well my hearing is right now. 

sight: i can't exactly see in the dark yet, but i plan on using a subliminal to fix that as well. cats can see very well in the dark, as most people know, so it's only common sense for a feline therian to be able to see pretty well. the funny thing is, i need glasses since my sight is a bit screwed up. although, the color variation is a put off for me. i cannot stand the color green (which is what housecats see on human skin), so this just makes me cringe.
