On November 22nd 1965, Maggie Young took her 4 daughters, one by one, into the bathroom of her Hawaii home and drowned them.
The oldest being 5 and the youngest being 8 months.
She then took her 8 year old son from school, brought him home and killed him the same way.
She placed all the bodies on twin beds.
Young immediately confessed to her crimes and was found to be severely mentally ill and suffered from delusions and paranoia.
Young was found unfit to stand trial and was committed to a state hospital.
About six months later she escaped to a chicken shed on the hospital grounds and hung herself.
