{~Same Story~}

{~Where are you?~}

The lone male sat in his room, silently, not speaking a word. The only thing that was present in his head was the soft lullaby that only brought painful memories. He could still remember how it happened...

'RYOUTA!'

'Huh...?'

CRASH! SCREECH! BANG!

'[NAME]CCHI!!'

'I'm sorry... We, tried our best.'

{~I'm right here beside the window~}

Then there was a soft singing. He looked up at the window, only to meet with two [e/c] eyes, smiling brightly at him.

'Ryouta.'

He stood up, shock gracing his features.

'[Name]cchi.'

{~What are you doing?~}

He knelt down on the ground, head buried in his knees,'I missed you. So much.' You let out a gentle laugh, as you walked over to lay your head on his shoulder,'I missed you too. Don't worry.'

{~I'm not doing anything~}

He then sat up,'It's great you're back...' You hummed a soft tune,'I know. It's great to see you again as well.'

{~Come here beside me~}

He stood up and walked over to the couch,'Come over here. I want to talk to you.'

{~I'll be there just wait for a minute~}

You merely smiled and nodded.

{~Let's talk~}

He let out a sigh,'Do you want to start first?'

{~It's ok, you first~}

You just shrugged,'It's okay, you go on first.' He began to speak about the solemn days without you. You sat silently, just listening to his words.

{~Where are you now?~}

Then when his attention turned back to you, you had disappeared from his sight. He panicked slightly, but when it happened, a pair of arms hugged him from behind. He let out a strangled sigh of relief.

{~I'm right here beside you~}

You muttered a few words,'Hey don't be upset, I'll be wherever you go.'

{~What are you looking at?~}

He turned around to face you. You gave him a kiss on his cheek. He blushed slightly, but a strong mask still stays on his face as he mustered his best smile.

{~I'm looking at you~}

Your eyes stared at the male before you. You felt complete, your heart as beating fast as before, when you first met him, fell in love with him.

{~Where are you going?~}

Then he noticed you wasn't in his arms anymore. He frantically searched, and realised you were near his bookshelf.

{~I'm not going anywhere~}

You gave him a smile, a book in your hands. You turned around, sighing softly under your breath.

{~......~}

He felt speechless.

{~I'll be always here right beside you~}

You just gave him a soft smile.

{~And then, I took a gaze on you~}

You took the book, giving it to him to read to you.

{~And then, it's always the same story~}

It felt surreal, like it happened before. He then remembered,'We used to do this whenever we had time.' You took a book and ran over to him. You would sit quietly, him reading to you in peace.

It was a special moment.

{~Where are you?~}

You got up and left his room. He followed you, heart still beating in fear.

{~I'm beside your room~}

You sat down in his study, a pen and paper in hand. You silently wrote a letter before placing it neatly on his desk.

{~Are you there?~}

His voice was shaky,'Hey, are you still there?'

There was no reply.

He walked in, but no one was here but the letter.

{~But I have to go soon~}

You hugged him again from the back. He turned around, slightly relieved from seeing you. But a sad smile was present on your face. With a soft words, you spoke to him,'I have to go soon.'

His eyes widened, not believing that this was true.

{~Let's talk~}

He tried to speak to you,'Hey, let's try to talk this out!'

No reply.

{~......~}

You were speechless.

But a smile was still on your face.

{~And then, I took a gaze on you~}

You were fading into the daylight. He struggled to hold you, but you didn't try to hold back.

'Hey it's okay, Ryouta. I'll be back soon.'

{~And then, I laughed while crying~}

Tears began to fall from you eyes. You kept your smile on, trying to keep strong. He was already in tears,'Please, please don't go. Not now, please...'

{~Goodbye, I saw a dream last night~}

You faded away, nothing but a letter was left. On it was just his name. He hugged it dearly, unable to take the blow. The sun was rising, and then he awoke.

He looked around, noticing a letter beside him. Taking it to read, there nothing but his name. Tears started to fall, and soon he was wracked with sobs.

It was the same dream again, the one he had since your death. Your portrait was smiling dearly, the same smile you had when you first met. If only you hadn't sacrificed yourself to save him from that car.

'[Name]chii...'

He folded the letter as he got up for school.

'I love you.'
