To drown a mermaid--
Quite the atrocious resolve,
To kill the maiden.
To the ones who dare
To slay Poseidon's daughters,
There's a simple route.
To drown a mermaid,
Take away her fins, her scales;
Give her love instead.
A heart, an anchor;
What's the difference of the two?
Burdens to the soul.
Take it from your chest,
Fasten it to her person--
And the girl will sink.
To drown a mermaid,
Take away her fins, her scales;
Give her love instead.
