Chapter 9

Why did i do that? i just kissed a student, that student being very attractive and very appealing and that student being Phoenix Crawfmen.

I got in my car and drove straight home, i needed to think. As much as iw ant to kiss her endlessly i have to consider some shit like my job, i mean i could go to prison and that is not what i want!

I got in the house and sat on my couch just staring at my TV which was switched of, what to do? I made something to eat but my mind wasnt focused so it burnt so i ened up ordering take out. The door went and i answered and stared at the person in shock,

"Natalie?" ia sked and she nodded "hey Josie!" she said and i looked her over, she was pizza delievry person. My ex-girlfriend from high school who was a lawyer is now pizza delivery person "thats three eighty!" she said looking at the recipt.

I went in my pocket and got her the money "keep the change!" i said and she smiled "so how are you in ths job?" i asked taking the pizza "i got laid of, times are hard but i got this job and i dont mind it to much!" she said and i frowned "im sorry to hear!" i said and she shrugg,

"im sorry for everytthing Josie i really am!" she said and i cringed "its in the past!" i said and she shook her head "i think about you alot, i shouldnt have kissed that girl im sorry please can you forgive me?" she asked and i nodded,

"i forgive you i done that a long time ago i just didnt forget!" i said and she forwned "i still lvoe you!" she said and i cringed "Natalie just go!" i said and she shook her head "please Josie!" she said and is shook my head "Nata-" i was interupted by her lips on mine,

They were ruff unlike Phoenix's which were so soft and delicate. I pushed her away and she frowned "Natalie just go please!" i said and she frowned more and left. I shut the door behind me and i suddenly lost my appetite.

Through the weekend i was thinking alot and i got no where. I wanted to go to Phoenix ad talk with her but something was stopping me and i dont know what but it drove me insane not talking with her about this so i hatched a plan that i'll talk with her after class.

The bell went for first period and i smiled and the class came poruing in and i saw Phoenix and she didnt look my way and i frowned. "goodmorning class!" i said and they all smiled and i saw Phoenix had her head down and she wasnt looking my way and i frowned again.

I gave the class there work to do and some went to instruments. I glanced over at Phoenix every so often and when our eyes met she would quickly lok away and i frowned.

The bell went and i smiled "Phoenix could ou stay please?" i asked and she mumbled somethin and the class left. I went around the classroom picking up the classes work sheets while she stood at the front waiting,

"so how come you wanted me to stay?" she asked as i sat back at my desk "i think we should talk!" i aid and she nodded "sure!" she said and i smiled "your a bit intimidating!" she said and i raised an eyebrow,

"when you sit like that and talk like that you come across as a teacher!" she said and i smiled "i am a teacher!" i said and she nodded "yeh but your more a bit laid back your not when you act liek that!" she said and i smiled,

"okay ignoring the fact i sit and talk like a teacher a si am a teacher i still think we should talk!" i said and she nodded "we are were using our voices!" she said and i sighed "about something specific!" i said and she nodded,

"okay lets talk about Whales, If you get the chance to closely observe whales you will quickly understand how they value their relationships with each other." she said and i looked at her,
