~ Chapter 2 - Dreams ~
"I love you Jess Hugo." Luke's says stepping closer to me.
"I love you too." I grin before leaning in.
"Jess time to wake up!" Luke mouths but sounds strangely like my mother. Huh?
I bolt upright and rub my eyes.
Of course it was a dream, I sigh and pull the covers off me and walk into the bathroom. I start a shower and hop in wetting my body.
After my shower I wrap my towel around myself and walk back into my room to my closet. I pull out a pair of skinny jeans and a random shirt I also grab my underwear and pull them on and the clothes.
I head back into the bathroom and plug in my hair dryer and begin drying my hair. Once finished I apply my makeup and brush my teeth.
I walk into my bedroom again and grab my bag and slide my laptop and homework into it. I head out of my room and down the hallway to the kitchen.
"See ya!" I call and exit the house. My parents are normally to busy to wish me a good day at school. Once out I sit on the porch and wait for Luke to pick me up.
"Hey there Jessica!" Luke calls out his car window pulling up on the curb. "Eew please do not call me by my full name, you know I hate that."
"But you love when I say it." He winks and I hide my blush walking over to his car.
"It's even more repulsive when you say it." I giggle sliding in.
"Rude. And hey is that my arcade fire shirt!" He yells pulling at the cotton.
"Maybe..."
"Jess you know I love that shirt." He glares and starts driving.
"Oh how now brown cow. I'll give it back later... Or never." I grin
"Oh trust me you will give it back." He warns.

(Luke's POV)
I drive into the school parking lot and park in my usual spot.
"We have maths... Again." Jess says groaning. I can't help but notice how cute she looks pouting towards the school.
"Come on" I say pushing her out of the car. We stroll up to the school before being interrupted my a running mop of blonde hair.
"JESS!" She yells running into us. "Whoops sorry. Hey guys." She grins at us. Her blue eyes darting between us.
"Indie, why do you always have so much energy... In the morning!" I say smiling down at her. Indie was a transfer student from another school in the district and one of our good friends.
"Jess I need to know the details for tomorrow night." She says
I raise my eyebrows questioning Jess. "Where having a girls night tomorrow with Brenda and Molly." Jess says and indie nods her head quickly still smiling. Sometimes I swear this chick is on drugs. Happy drugs.
"Um just come straight to mine after school." Jess smiles
"Ok cool I'll let the others know." Indie skips off and we manage to finally make it inside the school.
"She's crazy." I smile.
"Yeah but she's hot."
"Not as hot as you." I mumble
"What?" Jess questions
"Nothing!" I say quickly before rushing over to my locker.
"I'll meet you in class." She smiles lightly before walking away.
"Kai's gonna ask out Jess." I hear a hushed voice say. I lean in closer to the voices.
"Yeah I know! It's so sweet." Listening closer to the voices I recognise them as Brenda, Molly's and Indie's.
Kai's gonna ask out Jess? My heart sinks at the thought before I quickly regain myself and head to class.
Walking in I find Jess had left me a seat, I trot over and take it.
"Hey." I smile at her. "Wanna hear some goss?"
"Always" she says excitedly.
"Kai is going to ask you out." Her face drops slightly before regaining itself.
"Really?" She says strangely.
"Are you ok with that?" She questions looking in my eyes.
"Um y-yeah yeah. Of course." I spill quickly.
"Oh ok." She says sounding hurt.
What did I do?
"Do you want him to ask you out?"
"Um I don't know, let's just concentrate on class." She whispers hiding herself.
Why doesn't she sound so excited? I thought she liked Kai?
