I Just Can't..

Lynn's POV
The day after Francisco became my boyfriend, I was bullied for it. It wasn't just words, it was fists. You might be wondering, "Lynn. You're tough, why don't you defend yourself?!" Well, when they bully me, fire builds inside me. But something happens that stops me. I end up crying and running away. I can't tell a teacher. I can't tell my parents. I can't tell my siblings.. I just.. Can't.. My siblings or parents don't know about me getting punched or slapped. Only Francisco does. That all ended when I came home from school one day. Alia beat me more than she ever has. And, as always, she gets away with it. She gave me a black eye that time. I had to think of an excuse so my family didn't find out. Vanzilla pulled up in front of my school. "Hey Lynn! How was school?" Lori asked. "It was good" I said with a fake smile. "OMG! LYNN! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYE?" Leni asked. Everyone immediately looked at my eye. "Oh.. That.. My friend wanted to try a new eyeshadow. She tried it out on me. Turns out, she doesn't really like it.." I said. "It doesn't look right. Here" Leni said and handed me a makeup wipe. I got nervous and started sweating. "Th-Th-Thanks.." I said grabbing the wipe. "I think I'll keep it on for now.." My siblings looked confused, but nodded, then headed home.

T I M E S K I P

I sat on my bed alone. Operation: Desert Storm was on, but I didn't bother watching tonight. I didn't even eat dinner tonight, and got scolded by my parents. Lucy came in. "Hey Lynn" she said. "Hey Luce.." I replied. She sat next to me and whispered. "I know you're hurt..."
