Demeter remembered the first time she met the three headed canine. It was free, and when it saw her, the creature looked like it would be the end of her.

"Get that wretched mutt off me!" She had yelled.

"You look as if it would bite you," Hades said, annoyed. "Cerberus wouldn't do such a thing."

The goddess was angered. The three headed dog was tame to Hades, to her daughter Persephone, but not to her?

She came near the dog, wanting it to like her. Demeter tried putting on a cheery face, so as to not scare it. But the opposite happened, and Cerberus, who was seeing her more than just a threat, ran towards her. Sooner enough, she was running, screaming for dear life, as she scurried round and round the obsidian palace.

Each of the eyes of Cerberus' heads glared at the goddess, perhaps remembering the fateful encounter. While that was really long ago, she wondered whether they could really call it quits, but its scary faces didn't give her any reassurance.

"S-stop barking..." She said in a small voice.

Demeter had remembered a story of how Percy Jackson had tamed the creature. But she couldn't remember what he used to tame it. And how can she even think given the situation The goddess was dared by that prankster Hermes to "survive" Cerberus for a minute. While the term was thought to be too much for the other deities (Especially that devil Hades), Demeter thought it was fitting.

Cerberus may be in chains, but she felt like it could get loose and leap on her in no time. What could she do?

"You should have told me earlier, Hermes," Hades said, scratching his head. "I could have freed Cerberus."

Poseidon laughed at his older brother. "You want Persephone to kick your butt again?"

"Oh, right." There was this time last last winter when Hades felt like pranking Demeter by replacing her meals with old soy beans. The goddess went hysterical, and Persephone scolded him big time. With his wife also in Olympus, the god of death sighed. A sermon was inevitable. He had wondered though, on why he chained up his beloved pet when he left with Hestia to the throne room for this weird game that somehow connected them.

The deities in the throne room continued watching Demeter through Hestia's fire. The goddess was only staring at the three headed dog with trembling legs.

"I don't want this anymore!" She shouted. "Can I go back?"

She was already sweating. It was strange for her spectator; a moment ago, she seemed motivated, and then she became really afraid.

As if things couldn't get worse, Persephone and Hebe came back to the throne room and caught them.

The spring goddess made an unpleasant face. "What is going on?"

Hades gulped.

"Oh hey...honey! We're still in the game!" He said in a cheery but nervous tone.

"What is my mother doing with Cerberus?"

"Um, she's going to play!"

"Yeah, I see how she's enjoying it," said Hebe, cringing at the situation.

Persephone made a glare that put the entire throne room to total silence.

"Bring her back here. Now."
