It's the disease without a cure, more like a curse.

The thing that makes people turn.

The parts of yourself you give up for the trends.

Trying new things doesn't mean changing who you use to be.

Fitting in doesn't mean you have to put up an act.

Saying the word "No" is now poison.

A trap taking away your personality piece by piece.

Changing the nice guy to mean.

Caving in to what might seem to be the way out, to gain power and a higher status in society.

What's the harm in being yourself?

Scared of the norms what others might think

So you lock away the crazy unusual being.

You lock away the pieces that makes you unique.

For what though?

To stay around judgemental people ,

who won't accept you for the person you are.

People who judge you based on your exterior.

You'll redo your entire wardrobe,

Steal money you don't have

just to hang out with the rich kids.

Bully someone to get a recommendation in some bad crew.

You'll drink at a party to prove to everyone your someone your not.

You don't have to label yourself to society to prove anything to anyone.

After all you know the truth.

Embracing your individuality

following the quote "Always be yourself"

Is the cure to the disease called

Peer Pressure.
