Our Cubs

Tigris watched her brothers continue to play fight again

"When will you two stop" she sighed

"Till Chase gives up" Nigel gave a challenging stare at his younger brother

"Which will not happen" Chase yells and lunges at him

"Whatever you guys are hopeless, I'm going home" she rolled my eyes and walked away

They always fight she bumped into a stinky sloth

"Oh hi uncle Sid"

"Oh hey Tigris, wanna help me with my new idea?" He asked

"No thanks Uncle Sid, Mom told me not to go with your ideas" she smiled

"No this idea is a good way to communicate when your far away!" He yelled but she didn't understand

"Well I got to go home hope your idea thing works" she smiled and ran to the cave

"Tigris where's your brothers?" Shira said as Diego dragged the buffalo in the cave

"Ok here's out dinner, where's chase and Nigel?"

"Their playing fighting again" Tigris said while almost drooling over the buffalo

"Ill go get them" Shira sighs but was stopped by Diego

"No I'll get them" he smiled and tracked them to the same spot they were fighting before

"I won I trapped you and you couldn't move" Nigel said to his little brother

"I let you win next time i won't go easy on you and I'll be pack leader" Chase yelled

"You two so know that I'll pick who's gonna be pack leader right?" Diego said

"Dad?! We didn't heard you coming" Nigel said in shock

"That's because I'm better than both of you combined but you boys are too young to be worried about being pack leader" he smirked "let's go home your mom is waiting"

The boys cubs ran in front of him and he followed

"I'm sooo full" Chase groaned and laid down

"Buffalo meat is my favorite" Nigel

"For the first time I agree with you" Tigris licked her lips

"Okay bath time" Shira laid down next them

"Aw...." The boys whined

"I'm First!" Tigris yelled and climbed into her mother's paws

After Tigris, Shira cleaned Nigel, who fell asleep during his bath then Chase who she had to pick up in order to get him to cooperate.

Now all their cubs are sleeping between Shira and Diego. "They grown so much..." Shira whispered to Diego

"Yeah Nigel and Chase are already talking about being pack leader" Diego chuckled

"if you had to choose who would you think could be pack leader" Shira asked

Diego thought about it and sighed "right now let's just talk about that when their older" he said and licked Shira before calling asleep

The next day, Shira woke up before Diego for the first time and began to stretch. Then a thought came across her mind.

"Diego!" She whispered and slightly shakes him awake

"what is it?" He asked while sitting up

"Ill go get breakfast this time you'll watch the kids" she smiled
