Chapter 25: Him

The rest of the time in Florida was well spent. Before mom and dad left we had a family day, just me, Mike and my parents. After they left, I spent majority of the time with Jake, get to know each other more, our likes, dislikes, you know the basics.

It's been a week back from Florida and classes began the following Monday we got back. Mike decided to take pre-med, he wants to join the military but Cera's scared for him. They Skype like everyday, every time I come to visit him he's talking to C, I wonder how he studies. Hmm.

I told Sloan about what happened with Jake's last girlfriend and she told me she knew something was weird about her. She told me her roommate was a compulsive liar, but liked her because they had somethings in common.

Me and Sloan have been studying since our exams are in a few days. It doesn't really help that we have different classes. I was reading about film and when it was made while she studied about criminology. I was laying flat on my stomach as I read chapters of the book.

"Hey my friends starting UPenn in a month and I want you to meet him" she said taking me away from my studying

"If you're trying to break me and Jake up. It's not going to happen" I chuckled, cause I know she would never do that 

"Shut up" she threw a pillow at me "I just want you to meet him okay"

"Fine" I threw the pillow back at her "Can I know his name?" she shook her head "Why not?"

"You have to wait and find out"

"Why tell me about him now instead of a week before he comes? Now I'm curious"

"Good" I rolled my eyes

"Knock knock" my heart raced as I sat up

"It's open" I yelled. He walked in and a smile was set upon my face

"What if he was a robber Mack?" she said mockingly

"You never know if I am or not" he said sitting on my bed. I slapped his arm "Hey it could be true" he handed me a cup of coffee

"I could tell it was him by the sound of his voice" I gave him a peck on the lips "Thank you for the coffee"

"Well you need it since you've been cramming for that exam"

"You know sleep is good sometime"

"Well the professors don't care, as long as you do the work" I rolled my eyes and got up, setting my coffee on my desk and making my way into the bathroom

"So you told her about the guy didn't you" I heard him say through the door

"Were you ease dropping?" Sloan asked in a shocked but mocking tone

"Well you guys were talking about it before I walked in"

"Yeah I told her. Don't worry, she won't break up with you for him"

"I know that"

"Really?"

"I trust her"

My heart was overwhelmed. He trust me. Now I feel like a fan girl who's just been told by their celeb crush he likes her or got a message from him

"You two are the same you know that" Sloan said

"What are you talking about?" he asked

"Hold on" she bang the door which made me jump away and scream like a little girl "See"

I opened the door and gave her a glare "Thanks for giving me a heart attack"

"You're welcome" she walked out of the room leaving me with Jake
