Finally an update! I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you so much for all the comments and votes. Ya'll are really what helps me write more to this story. Enjoy! Oh, and the picture is Shawn. Just imagine him a little bit younger though.

We gazed at each other for the longest time. My heart pounded loudly in my chest and at that moment, all I wanted was Damien. Imagining myself in his arms, even in his presence, made me feel safe. I watched as the alpha raised a glass of dark red wine to his lips without breaking our gaze. He smiled and it sent chills down my spine. Oh how I dreaded giving myself to him.

       "Victoria?"

I turned to see Dad giving me a look of concern. He looked into the crowd for a second then back at me. "What were you staring so hard at?"

"Nothing, I'm just a little dazed. It's just been a rough day." I lied.

I stared back into the crowd to find that he was gone. What was he doing here anyways?

"I'm sorry baby. How inconsiderate of me not to know that you would be stressed with your ride here and such. We'll leave shortly, but first, there are some people that you would want to see." He grabbed my hand and led me into the big building. Music was flowing peacefully through the speakers and people were flowing like angels around the center.

I followed dad towards the tables and instantly saw both sets of my grandparents. I felt a bright smile on my face and I literally ran into my grandma's embrace. I haven't seen her or my grandpa in about three or four years. They had moved to Alaska after my mom went missing and would call occasionally. They understood that my father was going through a rough time trying to deal with mom disappearing. It was shocking that he still wanted us since we were her children, but he explained that a male would never abandon his pups no matter what.

"Oh grandma, I love you so much." I murmured into her ear. She hasn't changed one bit. A few gray hairs were showing like the rest of my grandparents, but not noticeably. It was mostly blonde like mine and my mother. Her eyes were a deep green that reminded me of a four leaf clover.

"Not as much as I love you." She pulled away and smiled sweetly. "Honey, you look so beautiful. You've grown to look so much like your mother." Her eyes filled with tears. You could tell that she missed her daughter dearly.

"Thank you grandma. I could never be as beautiful as her though."

She looked surprised. "That's the first time I've heard you talk good about your mother. What happened?" In the corner of my eyes, I saw my dad stare at me in confusion and a little bit of suspicion.

I shook my head. "Nothing." Thankfully, my grandpa came to my rescue and scooped me up in his warm embrace.

"Has your dad been chasing off any boys yet?" He teased. I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Grandpa, I see you haven't changed one bit."

He kissed my cheek. "I'm still the same, best grandpa ever."

"I'm not sure about that." Behind my grandpa, papa stood with a smirk on his face. It was crazy how much dad looked just like him. He was an exact replica of him except he had noticeable laugh lines. Grandpa turned around to face him. "Are you saying your a better grandpa than me?" He chuckled.

"I'm the best anyone could ever get." Papa joked. He came around him and hugged me tightly to him. Papa spoiled me like crazy since I'm the only granddaughter he has. He didn't have any daughters, only my father.
