Calling On The Rain

I'm tired.

Of everything. Just make it all go away.

Make one thing perfect.

I ask him to change.

He says he probably won't,

But i still have hope.

You say no one can change over night?

I know someone.

You.

Who are you?

I don't even know any more.

You kick me out.

You treat me like dirt.

But you don't understand!

All the crap you have put me through and I'm still here!

But your chances are running out.

I'm sick of everything.

A friend recently told me:

"you need to be strong and take the first step away into a better life,

out of the rain and into the sunshine.

Right now He's not your sun,

He may have been before but right now all he is doing is calling on the rain."

I don't want to give up.

I really don't.

But what other choices do I have?

The rain is still here,

My sunshine is lost,

And I feel so alone.
