The last thing you want is to work hard on a story, enter the Wattys with your fingers crossed, and then find out later that your story was never eligible in the first place. There's still time though. Check in with the Wattys News book on the official Wattpad page for all the details on how exactly to enter, but also check the eligibility criteria. Read through below and make sure you can tick all the boxes:
-Stories must have a minimum of 5 chapters published since Sep 1st 2016 OR have all chapters marked as complete since Sep 1st 2016 (any 5 part story published in 2017 is therefore eligible)
-Book must tell a story (have a narrative to follow)
-Stories must be your own intellectual property (not copy and pasted from someone else)
-Not just an excerpt
-Stories on Tap must be completed with at least 75 messages
-Stories must be tagged #wattys2017 to be entered
