Lexi's pov.
I'm still sick but my fever has gone down. Auntie Katherine is holding me. I put my head on her shoulder. Daddy said "what's wrong baby? " i said "I don't feel good." Daddy said " I know. " he kissed my head. Both him and mommy are tired. They've been staying up with me all night.
Auntie rubbed my back. She gave me to daddy so she could help with the food. Daddy had to go help uncle Michael outside so mommy got me. I burried my face in the crook of mommy's neck. She rubbed my back. Auntie Marabeth came over. Everyone's been up with me these past few nights so mommy and daddy could sleep. I fell asleep.
Jules' pov.
Lexi finally fell asleep. She hasn't slept since before 1 am this morning. Everyone's been getting up with her the past few nights. I hate seeing her sick. She's been battling the flu and a double ear infection for 3 weeks in a row. My niece Adi who's now 11 came over to me. "
She said "Aunt Jules can Lexi come play with me and Ari." Ari is 14 now. I said "not right now sweetie. I just got her back to sleep, and she needs a lot so she can get better faster." Adi nodded and went to the living room. Lexi moved and woke up. She started kicking. I said "shh you're okay." I rubbed her back. She soon fell asleep. None of us have been getting enough sleep. Since we got here 3 days ago, me and Derek have only gotten 2 hours of sleep each.
