                                                      Chapter 13

Richard walked out of Victoria's house with mix emotions. All he wanted to do was walk right back in there and demand for her forgiving as well as make her understand that he wasn't fully in control of his actions. However, he knew she wasn't a shifter and therefore, she didn't fully know how things were completely run as one. He needed to let her have her space, at least for a little while.

Yet, as he walked the dirtied road towards his home and his alpha, he knew he couldn't go home, especially when all his pack members where there. He needed to approach his father with caution when jumping over the obstacle at explaining not just the fact that he had mated with someone not his pack, but a species that people thought didn’t even knew still existed.

Yet, he would say that it was all his wolf fault, however he knew better. It was something far greater then getting physically excited as well. It was her. The way that she smelled and the taste of her kisses. He didn't know how to describe it, however, he could only explain it as a bundle of flowery herbs.  

He knew it was stupid, but it was true. Yet, at some level it was about getting physically excited. After all, her kisses were like fire. He couldn't shake his sexual feelings and still wanted Victoria with all his body. His legs even wobbled as he walked down the dirt road. He was definitely drunk at the passion of their heated moment, but realized that there will be more moments like that in the future if he got passed his father disapproval.

This is another reason why he couldn't go home as well. There where only one way he could wash away his troubles and forget this horrible day. He needed alcohol and a lot of it, so with a stop in direction, he started towards an easier solution.       

Every step he took towards the tavern, he felt more and more with dread. calming how stupid he was at getting himself in this mess. he was definitely an idiot and now he had to live with that knowledge for the rest of his life.

As he walked into the establishment, he took his place at the counter. Everyone stared at him because they were all human and they knew where he should be because his whole pack was there, but he didn't pay anybody attention. As he turned to the bartender. "I want your coldest, best ale and keep it coming."

But everyone still kept on staring at him, even after he spoke. Everyone it seem was glued to their seats. He signed then, because he didn't have any patience. "Goddess damit, can somebody give me some beer." He growled and with that everyone went back to their business as the bartender squired to get his drink.

He never been the one the was overly aggressive. He guessed a really bad day could do that to a shifter, especially a carefree one, that took life at what it may.

As the bartender set the brown, fog mug in front of him, he took along sip of his drink and could feel the tension losing up in his mind. It wouldn't take him long to drown in his sorrows. Soon, he would forget all his worries.

After about three hours, he already had about twenty glasses of ale. Everything was forgot and therefore, he was in a very good mood. A great mood in fact that he was constantly a free bird by going up to people and telling  irritating, bothersome jokes and flirting with the ladies that weren't as attractive as he might believed.

"Your very beautiful."  He slurred to an elderly woman with frizzy, gray her who had no front teeth as he walked out of the bathroom for the tenth time. Then he sat next to her at the booth and wrapped his arm around her.

"Your a vision."  He stated once more as she gave him a toothless grin.

But his fun was soon short-lived as a man can up and grabbed Richard by the sleeve of his shirt and pulled him up to face him. "Are you flirting with my grandmother, you sick man." He barked.
