"Yes, mom. I'm safe."

"Yes, mom. I'm fine."

"Yes, mom. I'm alright, now stop worrying!"

I was on a phone call with my completely stressed out mother. As you can tell, she seriously needed to chill.

"Sorry dear. We just care a lot about you okay? You know that." My mom cooed.

"I know. I have to go now mom... bye! I love you!" My mom said goodbye and I hung up the phone.

"Aww Alina, aren't you sweet?" Trina winked playfully.

"I know. Aren't I?" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah, but not as sweet as me." She remarked while tossing her hair over her shoulders.

It was 6pm and Trina and I were just relaxing in our rooms. Practice was exhausting. Chase was still at school because their team wanted to continue practicing. The other schools participating were really good. But if I was being completely honest, our team would be among the top. Our biggest enemy being California Prince Academy. They had home court advantage, the fans, and well, more equipment to work with. They were very well trained.

I dropped the Seventeen magazine to my side. I flopped over my bed and sat upright.

"Trina, do you hear that?" I asked, wondering about all the laughing I could hear.

"You mean the giggling?" She clarified, not looking back from her computer.

"Yeah, that." I pointed out.

"Well yes, yes I do hear it." Trina replied, still not bothered.

"Well... do you want to go downstairs? I'm kinda bored. And hungry."

"Umm okay sure, hold on." I could see on her screen that she was on facebook. Her fingers pressed on the keyboard rapidly. Probably saying "bye!", "cya!", and "ttyl!" to everyone she was chatting with.

"Okay, lets go." Trina stood up, marching towards the door.

We walked through the hallway filled with antiques and picture frames. It was a beautiful house, and I'd really miss it. Even if we still had around two more weeks here.

As Trina and I neared the staircase, we could hear very loud giggling. From teenagers I might add.

"Alina, the honors yours." I sighed, stepping in front of her to meet the people.

I walked down the steps and flattened my oversize plain white tee. I was wearing soft cotton blue shirts which I hoped was presentable.

When I set my foot on the first floor, I saw that to my left, were two teenage girls and Chase in the living room. The living room's lighting was very yellow. It had plush white sofas, a flat screen TV and a table with food, magazines, and other things.

They were all so happy. The two girls' backs were facing me, so only Chase, who was opposite them could see me.

"Oh hey! Alina! Trina! Over here." Chase waved his hand excitedly. I pursed my lips, worried that Chase may still have been upset from earlier today. Clearly not. Or not now anyway.

I walked over with Trina trailing behind. The two girls finally turned around.

One had bouncy, layered black hair. She was gorgeous. She had a light tan and a model like body. From what I could tell, she looked like a unique crossover of a Mexican and Asian.

Her dark eyes scanned me up and down, unamused.

"Um, hey?" Trina questioned, a bit disgusted by the girl's lack of attitude.
