Frappe Shot 11:

Tuesday evening, I got online out of boredom. Surprisingly, maagang natapos ‘yung gig namin sa Trinoma kanina.

I logged in my YM account at maya-maya pa, parang gif ang paggalaw ng mga nagsulputang chat boxes. Close. Close. Close. I found a familiar YM ID in an orange dialogue box on my taskbar.

“Annyeonghaseyo!”

“Damn, I miss you Buds!” I can feel the blood running up my face making it red and making it feel a little hot.

I was about to reply when suddenly... I got disconnected! Damn it! Nabiktima ako ng HANGING BY A MOMENT virus! Bakit ngayon pa?? I immediately signed my YM account back in. But before that, I checked the 3rd box on my yahoo messenger that says “sign in as invisible to everyone”. It took me 50 seconds. Swear it was the longest 50 seconds of my life. And my offline messages finally popped out. Yes, I’m connected once again.

Miyoung Lee (4/7/2009 10:09:43 PM): Buds?” That’s her first offline message to me wondering what happened just a while ago.

Miyoung Lee (4/7/2009 10:09:53 PM): Hana...” Hana isn’t a name. Teka, hana is one in Hangeul, ‘yun ‘yong turo n’ya sa’kin before.

Miyoung Lee (4/7/2009 10:10:03 PM): Dul...” That means two. Hey, binibilangan n’ya na ‘ko.

Miyoung Lee (4/7/2009 10:10:13 PM): Set!” Oops, pangatlo na ‘yun.

Miyoung Lee (4/7/2009 10:10:19 PM): Buddy? What happened??”

I miss you too!” I immediately replied as soon as I read her last offline message. “Sorry I got disconnected. What’s up Ms. Shogun?”

I’m super bored here, Mr. Samurai. Since I arrived, all I do is business.”

I empathized with her.

Mi-Young, you deserve a break, besides it’s summer.”

...there.” She corrected my previous sentence.

Oh, yeah I forgot.” “But you know, you started working right after your graduation, how about having a vacation?”

That would be impossible by now.” And that reply saddens me.

Hey, how about you? What’s up?” Mi-Young asked.

We are going to release our third single in two weeks’ time.” Time flies fast kaya before time reaches the end, I’ll use it wisely and make the most out of it, I’ll tell her what’s on my mind right now.

“You know what? Although Lenin’s the one who composed that song, I’d still want to dedicate it to you.” Which is true, which is very true in my situation with Mi-Young.
