You quickly walked into the coffee shop while listening to some music. You were rushed but standing for the next 14 hours didn’t seem too appealing to you. You looked at your watch yet again, as you approached the line of 6 people. 10:03. Only 13 hours and 57 minutes to go. You really couldn’t believe that, that jerk you used to call a boyfriend broke up with you this morning of all days. You were finally looking forward to this day. But now you had to stand in front of thousands of couples kissing each other as the clock strikes midnight. Fun.

You cranked the music up louder to get some of the tension out of you. When the music didn’t please you anymore you switched it to B.A.P. Louder. This needs to get louder. You close your eyes for a second when a man behind you tapped your shoulder. Angered, you pulled out your headphones out as you screamed “What?”

You looked up at the man and you felt like you were going to faint. The man pointed to the line. “Umm… can you move up please? I have to be somewhere soon.”

Zelo. This wasn’t happening.

You looked up at him. “You…you…” you couldn’t seem to finish the sentence. Then you seemed to snap out of it.

“Ah, I’m sorry.”

“Don’t worry about it.”

You decided to play it cool. He probably doesn’t need a fan girl right now especially when he’s in the States.

You finally reach the beginning of the line and ordered your drink.

You took a seat right when you hear the words, “Hey, can someone help us over here.” It was the barista.

“We need someone that speaks…” he turned to Zelo and asked him something. “Korean.”

‘Woah, ummm…I guess I can help’ you thought to yourself.

You walked up to them and translated everything that Zelo said and told everything to the barista. The barista thanked you and Zelo turned to you.

*Wow, I didn’t know you spoke Korean.* he said in Korean.

*Yea, it was just something to learn in high school. It was better than Spanish.* you reply.

*I didn’t even know that they taught Korean here. It seems pretty hard for Americans to learn it* he said.

*Well, I learned it on my own.* You confess.

*Wow. You are truly amazing.*

*Thanks.*

At that moment the barista comes back with Zelo’s coffee.

*Well if that is it…* You say as you turn away.
