there is a hurting;
a fire burning;
and blazing through
her brain
that so many people
simply found her insane
she just needed someone
to look into her eyes
and see that fire burning
and save her from her own mind
but instead
she was put away
and wore the label "insane"
when the one who started that fire,
inside of her,
was never to be blamed.
