"Omg! you guys are the cutest couple ever!" Paige my best friend was gushing about my other best friend Maddie and her boyfriend Zack. part of me was hurt that she'd never said that about josh and I, but then again josh was her twin brother and you NEVER think that your brother's cute especially when they're your twin.
"Guys I just came up with the best idea ever! We should have an end of summer party! We should invite all our friends!" That's Maddie for you, the opposite of a "think before you do type of girl" just like usual she had come up with an idea that didn't make any sense since our parents had said absolutely no parties after all 3 of us had ended up getting wasted and drunk and the house looked like a dump at our last party which was a week ago but I didn't want to seem like a loser so I kept my mouth shut.
"Oh that's like the best idea ever mads you are a total genius!" is everybody out of their minds today? or is it just me?
"What do you think chlo? Isn't having a party an awesome idea?" I was taken back by that question, even though Paige and maddie are my besties they never really ask for my thoughts, I tend to be the downer and the boring one in our group while maddie and Paige are the outgoing and bubbly ones that never fail to make people stare at them, they both had glamorous blue eyes, tanned skins, and figures that looked flattering in every piece clothing, from baggy jeans to short skirts to crop tops, maddie had long light brown hair that looked like silk and went to her hips and Paige had golden blonde hair that was perfectly curled, while I was stuck with dark brown eyes that looked lifeless and a pale complexion that made my brown lifeless eyes stick out and stringy blonde hair that wouldn't style properly and worst of all I was "blessed" as my mom calls it with a 5'10 figure that toward over more than half of the student body, while maddie and Paige wore 4 inch heels I was stuck wearing flats to every dance, shopping trip and date. but thankfully josh had seen past all of my flaws and had excepted me for who I am and I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend!
"Ya like totally, but where'll we have it? I don't know about you guys but I do NOT want to be grounded for 2 days again! Abercrombie and Fitch is revealing their fall collection this week!" I tried to sound as drunk as I could because while Paige and maddie had sneaked a few drinks from the basement I had decided to stick to my traditional apple juice, call me boring but I do not want to be drunk while my boyfriend is across the hall from us.
" O chlobird your riiight! wait don't your parents own a beach house like somewhere near a beach or something?" Yup maddie's totally drunk.
"No maddie it's actually right on the beach, and don't you think that's enough drinking for one night?"
"Boo!! since when did you become a party pooper! We're just having a little fun or are you worried that I'll go make out with your boyfriend again?" at that part I couldn't help but gasp, even when she was drunk she still managed to be the leader, she kinda reminded me of Allison from PLL in that way. I couldn't help but remember what had happened that night, since I was the only out of the three of us to not be completely wasted the memory was etched in to my brain.
--------------Flashback------------
"Maddie? Paigey? where are you? Brooke called she said she'd pick us up!!" I must've looked like a total idiot then but I was mildly drunk, could you blame me?
Then I saw maddie sucking faces with some blonde dude.
"C'mon maddie we gotta go!" but as I ripped her away from the random guy I saw that it was josh hyland.
----------------flashback over------------
of course he was drunk, my best friend was drunk, and even I was drunk, so I couldn't really be mad, or I couldn't stay mad at least. after all Maddie wouldn't get hurt if I stopped being her friend, she wouldn't lose anything, I would be the one getting hurt, I would be at the bottom of the high school food chain if I stopped being friends with Franklin regional's sweetheart/hottie/ queen bee.
