[[Confrontation]]

"Tina, you'll be playing defensive with Callum and I, Ben, Jerry and Krissy, you guys take up front. The rest of you play mid field." Everyone nodded. "Read? Let's go." Olly clapped as both teams got into position.

Ok, you have no idea what you're doing so just play it cool. Pass to the boys. I kept telling myself over and over in my head. Why did Olly have to put me in mid field where all the action takes place? I mentally groaned.

I saw Kat stretching her legs having the same thoughts in her head. She looked at the other team confused and nervous. There was no way I'd be able to talk to her now. Our opposing team took there stances.

I sighed and got into position as Kerri, being our referee, blew her whistle and the game began.

I managed to be in the right places at the time, the boys and some of the other girls seemed to be doing just fine without me. While the ball was down one end, I ran in the opposite direction. I know, I'm a chicken but I don't fancy getting tackled by any of these guys who were twice my size.

Kat picked up on what I was doing and seeing that it worked for me, she used my idea. Our team was currently trying to score so we were up by the defender's of the other team. Seeing the ball wasn't about to make it's way down here just yet, I walked over to where Kat was standing.

"Hey." I said looking forward. She turned towards me and went to say hey back when she realised who she was talking to. She mouth started opening and closing, no words coming out. "You look like a fish." I said watching the ball's every move, I knew that if I took my eye off of it, it would come hurdling towards me.

"Hi." She managed to get out. We stood there for a few seconds in silence when she suddenly got over the shock and found her voice again. "I'm sorry." She said and I turned to look at her when I heard the slight break in her voice.

"I know." I said as she continued to watch the ball, her eyes wetter then usual.

"I really am Sophie. For what I put you through..." She whinced. "God, I'm such a crappy friend." She said wiping a stray tear.

"It's ok Kat. I think every one has just been having a couple of bad months. What I really need is a fresh start. It's a new year, why not put the past behind us and make the most of now. Life's too short." I said turning my attention back to the ball.

"I don't know how you can forgive us so easily." She sighed.

"I had people who helped me through this and made me see sense." I replied honestly.

"I'm sorry about Wilson. He was a good guy and certainly didn't deserve...." I nodded. We smiled and turned our heads as we heard the guys from our team cheering.

"We scored!" Olivia cheered running towards me.

"So I see." I smiled and laughed at the guys all jumping on the guy who had earned us the point.

"Wait your friends?" Kat asked shocked.

"Yeah, we talked and...we're friends." I shrugged and Olivia grinned.

"Whoohooo! Score!" Tina cheered coming up towards us.

"You could forgive her....before forgiving us? After what she put you through?" Kat asked ignoring Tina. I sighed.

"Yes." I said honestly. Kat huffed and crossed her arms. "You know why I could forgive her as easy?"

"Enlighten me." Kat said.

"Yes, Olivia hurt me. Yes, she made my life hell. Yes, Olivia made me cry almost every day. But the hurt she put me through was no where near as bad was what you guys put me through. You were my best friends, believing my enemy when you knew she wanted to get me down. You never onced asked me what happened! You never once realised that it was killing me as well! So yes, forgiving her was easy because she wasn't my friend who turned their back on me when I needed them most!" I ended up shouting, I didn't mean to but I did.
