"You so owe me one" Marco said and I rolled my eyes
"Shut it.. let's go" I said as I got into his car
I called Marco and asked for his help. He didn't want it as first but I did well for that. He made me promise a lot of things which I just agree right away.
He drove to the BC Event , I got out from the car and immediately got caught by my dad's guard again. My dad prepared this so well. Marco helped me and I saw Lauren's here too.
"You should go" Lauren said to Marco and he left me with Lauren
"Everyone's here?" I asked and Lauren nodded
"You have a gun or knife?" She whispered
"I have , you?"
"Always have , we all have one in our body. The boys currently inside and our dad were not happy that we're all here" Lauren said and I sighed
"Nate's inside? Amelio?"
"Nate made a really great entrance , people didn't believe at first" Lauren answered
"What happen earlier? Aiden and Andrew rushed here
"Avalton approached your dad" What?
"We need to go inside" I said and Lauren held me
"Not now Joan" She said. I saw Crystal , Cailey and Autumn walked to us
"The situation inside was so heated" Cailey said
"How do you know?" I asked. She threw a new earpieces to me and Lauren. I quickly put it to my ear and so was Lauren. I turned it on and everyone was currently silent
"Nate's heading towards Amelio" Brandon said
"I'm near by" Archer said
"We're death after this for sneaking out" Morris said
"They're talking now.. Nate and Amelio" Aiden said
"Who's the shooter for today?" I asked
"Joan!" Axel was mad
"You can't hold me brother" I answered
"Where are you?" Joel asked in the same tone
"Who's the shooter today?" I asked. In this situation we always prepare a shooter. Shooter always hid someone in the building and already stand by to shoot with the longest gun.
"Parker and Rick" Matthew answered
"Welcome to the club Joan , your boyfriend is mingling with Nate right now. They're bestfriend now" Daniel said
"He's not my boyfriend. I used him" I hissed
"Should we go inside?" Crystal asked
"If you dare going inside , I'm taking you home Crystal" Dylan warned
"Shut it guys" Aiden said
"I'm going inside" I announced
"Hold her Lauren!" Christian said and the girls held me
"Don't Joan"
"Nate needs me , he can't be alone in this" I said and looked at Lauren who held me tightly. I turned the earpiece and looked at them. They turned off the earpiece too
"I have my gun , they all have my back. Trust me in this" I said and smiled at them. They shook their head
"I'm going to Amelio and Nate needs me" I said
"You're good at self defense but there are times that we need to see our enemy Joan" Autumn said
"We have 3 teams , 2 shooter , 16 of you and 7 parents here" I said
"We don't know the situation" Crystal didn't agree too
"Just out your ass here Joan" Cailey said and I sighed
"Nate's background were like your dad's and my dad's" I turned to Crystal
"He has no one and he's facing this alone. I need to control Amelio here cause he's already under my heels now" I said and Lauren slowly let me go
"What's your plan?"
"Distract Amelio" I said
"What's next?"
"I'll turn the earpiece everytime , don't worry. You'll hear everything" I said and they still not approving
"We got your back.. becareful" Suddenly Crystal said and I nodded. I walked to the building first and turned on the earpiece
"Don't even dare to enter the building Joan" I heard Joel warn me but too late. I already got into the building. There's a lot of people here.. around 1000 people or more. It was a big event for businessmen and businesswomen all over the world
I walked through the sea of people to find Amelio and Nate
"I saw you Joan" I heard Dylan hiss
"Why are you here?" Suddenly my body was caught by Nate , he looked at me angrily and I was stunned by his action
"What is Nate doing Joan?" Brandon asked
"Nate is talking to Joan?" Axel asked
"Where Amelio?" I asked Nate and he looked at me disbelief
"Where is he?" I repeated
"You need to go home , why are you here?" He asked angrily and he looked around
"Hands off my sister" Suddenly Joel pushed Nate , Joel held my hand and glared at Nate
"Take her home" Nate looked at Joel seriously and he walked away. I pushed Joel and he looked at me mad
"You're crazy Joan"
"Crazy to protect my family Joel , I will stay here until I make sure everything is okay!" I hissed and walked away from him
"Watch her" Joel said to everyone through the earpiece
"Joan!" Oh shit! My dad.. I quickly walked away and slipped through the sea of people
"Baby!" I turned to see Amelio.. Just the person that I need to see
"Stay away from Amelio Joan!" Christian warned
"Hey babe" I hugged him and kissed his cheek
"You look so beautiful today" He looked at me from head to toe and I smirked
"Thankyou"
"Joan!" Axel shouted through the earpiece
"Should we take a drink?" He asked and he put his hand on my waist. He pulled me to the side and held me tightly in his arms
"Amelio took her to the side.."
"Don't be stupid Joan" I heard Cailey said
"I miss you" Amelio said as I felt my back kiss the wall
"I miss you too" I smiled to him and pulled him closer to me
"You're beautiful but I hate traitor" He whispered as he put a knife in front of my stomach
"Put your knife down Herinel or I shoot you now" Nate put a gun to his head and Amelio smirked
