This is a werewolf story, but different from the rest. We are not talking about mates, we are talking about power and duty. The main character is strong and independent. I know that the summary the author wrote do not tell you a lot about the storyline, but do not get discourage because of it.
Ally is an important political character and she had to fled her rightful place in order to save her life. She is just waiting to go back where she belongs. In the meantime, she had to find herself a new identity and a good place to stay hidden for a while. What a better hidding place than in the house of an Alpha, as his mistress?
The thing about this book is that I wished it was longer!
