i never thought
that we'd end like this
cause i was yours
and you were mine
but i never knew
that there was
someone else
in between us
to make you doubt
what you had
at that time
and maybe it was
someone else
that always mattered
someone else
who you thought cared more
but will that someone else
refuse to let you go
when you've
already surrendered
will that someone else
love you
like i did before
cause if she can
and if she will
then maybe
just maybe
though no matter
how much
it hurts
i'll surrender us too
to a person
who could love you better
than anybody else could
