that forever was just a word
knew only half of the story
forever
is not just any word
it's a promise
but just like any words
we hold on to forever
like it existed
like we could see it
as if we could feel it
and just like any promises
it lasts shorter than we hope it would be
forever breaks
and we break too
suddenly everything else around us
begins to blur
and the only thing that stands out
is the pain
this pain
and a you
a me
and an us
and a forever
half truth
half lie
