As I get home see that my mom is sitting on the couch crying. "What's wrong mom?" I ask trying to get her to look at me.

"Your brother was hurt." She says wiping tears from her eyes.

"Trey!" I say standing up. Then I realize she was talking about my step brother, I smirk to myself.

"Mom, he'll be fine. But I have to talk to you." I say as she scoots over and pats the couch next to her "I'm going to be going to an exchange school in Europe for a little while."

"Why would you want to leave?" my mother asks oblivious to what she was asking.

I quickly stood up feeling anger build as what seemed like tears filled my eyes. "Because I'm beat constantly mentally and physical. Not to mention the fact you watch it happen and do nothing to stop it!" I look down at her as she looks to the floor. "I love you mom, but there is nothing you can say to keep me here." I walk upstairs and go to the bathroom before I start crying.

As I look up in the mirror I notice that my eyes aren't the blue color they usually are; now they were a bright red color. I close my eyes and take a deep breath before opening them again. As my heart rate slowed down my eyes shifted back to normal.

As I pack all my stuff, witch sadly fit in one box, I looked through the pictures. I decided to only take the ones that made me smile, so in other word I took three pictures. "Are you ready?" I hear Weston ask from my door.

I turn around after putting a shipping sticker on the box. I grab my shoes and then Weston grabbed my free hand lacing our fingers together.

"Sabrina!" I hear a deep voice yell from down stairs.

I tighten my grip on Weston's hand making him turn to me as I stop. "You're eyes." He says shocked.

"What about them?" I ask through gridded teeth.

"I thought you said they changed red." He quotes.

"They do." I say then grab my iPod out of my pocket and turn on the front camera. As I look into the reflection I notice what scared Weston, my eyes are purple now. "What does this mean?" I ask staring to become worried.

"It means we have to leave, now!" he says as he quickly pulls me down the stairs.

As I walk I feel my teeth sink into my gums causing my mouth to fill with blood. As I wake out I see a hand reach towards me. I feel I sharp pain in my left check as the hand slams across my face. I release the blood that I had been holding in my mouth. As I turn to hit matt back Weston jumps in front of me and hits him one time in the chest causing him to sail across the room smacking into the mantle above the fire place. "We have to go now."

I nod but look for my mom who was nowhere to be seen. I quickly pick my box up from where Weston had sat it down and walk out the door. As I reached the car I could feel my teeth slowly start to shift back to normal.

It was only seconds later that Weston climbed into the seat next to me. He didn't even wait to buckle into his seat he simply started to car and drove away as quickly as possible.
