I mean, oooookay, I am going to get it, I am going try to get it. I am not judging the ship (jk, I totally am).
Ok, I get, maybe if we've had a better explanation to what Sensui's and Koenma's relationship was like when he was a spirit detective, this ship would make more sense.
If you just read into the conversations and interactions Sensui and Koenma have during the saga, you can see (clearly actually) that their relationship was different than Koenma's and Yusuke's. Koenma and Yusuke are clearly just a hella good friendship, but Sensui and Koenma relationship seemed to have something else, something extra.
Which could totally be true considering that Sensui is canonly gay and we never heard about Koenma's sexuality after all.
It doesn't make that much sense for me (because I am a Botan/Koenma and Sensui/Itsuki crazy bitch). I just can't picture them together, but I admit that there is this tiny possibility of they having more past than we can imagine.
Does anybody have a better theory?
