All I can see is your smile,

making me a helpless child.

All I can see is your blue eyes,

I can’t even try, to make you mine.

All I can see is your new haircut, blowing away in the cool breeze.

Every bit of you, I want a piece.

Frozen like an ice cube,

I see you have gone through puberty.

When and Why is the question,

nothing else is important.

I may be in love with you,

I may like your deep voice,

I may like your highlights,

and I may want to be your girl,

but I won't let you hurt me, play with my feelings,

break me to pieces, damage me thoroughly.

I won't let you be in charge.

I tell myself I am strong, powerful enough to take you on.

I tell myself I am wrong, when I see you have feelings towards "others".

I tell myself lots of things, all sorts of things.

But it's not enough to keep me feeling like I am not wanted anymore.

I guess you got bored of waiting.

I guess the chance of us dating, is 0%.

Sugar (girl) was surprised when Salt (boy) suddenly stopped asking her out, stopped telling her how much he likes her. The feeling of disappointment was unbearable and she finally realised she liked salt all this time, she just didn't know it. She gave up when she saw him with another girl. Sugar saw how happy he was, the grim expression on his face when he was with her was gone, replaced by a happy grin. She knew she couldn't destroy his happy bubble.
