Kendall's POV

this hug felt like hours, it's the only hug I've gotten from him it's felt like eternity. Last time we hugged was before he left me leaving me alone

"Well I'm gonna go for a walk" I pulled away, not wanting to remember all the bad memories

"Uh okay" he slumped on his bed lazily

I walked out with my phone in case of emergency's

I sat at the park oh god did this bring memories, good ones, bad ones, forgotten ones

I noticed a guy, with his child he was staring at me blankly and his kid was sipping some apple juice

what the fuck is he looking at honestly

He started getting up I saw him heading towards me I just sat there scared

"Kendall?" I looked up surprised, oh my... Same voice, face, and body it's him it's gotta be

"Dad?" I stood up taking a closer look how could it be

"Oh my gosh Kendall it's you, it's really you I've missed you so much I moved back down here for you I wanted to find you." His eyes are glossy I swear if I wasn't so confused I would be just about on the floor crying my eyes out

"I've missed you too" I hugged him, he sat next to me with his son I'm guessing

"Kendall this is Tyler, Tyler look it's your step sister" he rubbed his back, the kid smiled at me. I can't fully function but it's him, he's changed for the better

We talked amongst each other for hours, we exchanged number I promised to keep in contact with him I told him about mom, and where I am right now, he offered for me to stay but I said I would think about it

We said our goodbyes heading separate ways

It's him.. It's actually him.

That night I go to bed early ignoring Justin and skipping dinner

I wake up early shielding the sun with my arms I check my phone

Daddy: good morning sunshine xx

(A.N. I don't really remember if they were in school but she is on summer vaca now bc I said so yay)

I text him all morning I hear commotion down stairs obviously its pattie or Justin

My dad asks if I wanna go for coffee I agree right away I'm actually happy for once someone cares.

I hop in the warm shower, I change into some plain skinny jeans, along with a lace top and vans i had already gotten the other day at the mall

I slightly curled my hair, a few swipes of lip gloss, and slashes of mascara

I heard my phone ringing i fished everywhere for it until I found it on my nightstand

"Hey dad" I smiled proudly, I can finally say that.

"Hey send me the directions I can start heading there now to pick you up"

"okay I will send them now love you"

"Love you too bye"

"So how's your mother" yesterday I never really told him how she's a alcoholic, smokes weed...etc

"Actually" I sighed

"Since you left she's been horrible" I admitted

"What- what happened" he stutters

"She's abusive, that's why I'm at a friends house" I feel my eyes get glossy I don't deserve a mother like her.

"Oh honey" he looks down at his fingers in deep consideration

"You can come live with us" he smiles wide

"I can't just intrude" I frown

"Intrude? honey you're my daughter! I insist no buts you're welcomed when ever, I will expect to see you fully moved in by tomorrow morning"

I smiled widely. He actually cares. I don't wanna bring up the baby or any drama because that is done and over with

"Thank you" I said lowly

We finished slurping down our coffee's in piece and quiet we could hear the little chats between others among us

"I will see you tomorrow morning here's the address" he handed me a paper then drove off, I smiled he actually misses me

I walked up the steps, I looked under the mat grabbing the spare key and unlocked it

I couldn't hear anything only a few whispers from upstairs it sounded like Justin he's so damn confusing one second he's hugging me the next he's an ass

I went up to the guest room, preparing for tomorrow I packed the few outfits I have, my make up, hair supplies..etc into the black bag I had gotten from my house

I stuffed it in a corner I'm ready to leave this house honestly.

"Dinners ready" I heard from downstairs, when did pattie get here? I have to tell her about tomorrow

"Mmm smells delicious" I patted my tummy as I sat across from pattie but next to Justin

"Thanks sweetie so how was your day?" she asked a small sparkle in her eyes she is probably one of the nicest ladies I've ever met.

"Great" I smiled digging in to the spaghetti

Once my plate was clear I dumped it in the sink I have to tell her. Now.

"So uh Pattie" I smiled politely

"Mhm" she hummed gulping down her water

"So I, uhm I actually found my dad" i look down playing with some of the cloth on the table

"That's great!" she said in awh, Justin had his eyes glued to his phone but I knew he was listening

"He-he invited me to live with him, he told me about it and it's about half an hour away, he wants me to meet his son and wife" I look directly in her eyes, I see Justin look at me from the corner of my eye

Pattie opened her mouth to say something but Justin beat her to it "I'm gonna go to bed goodnight" with out a response he quickly walked upstairs slamming his door
