Zach’s POV
*next morning*
Sleeping with Alice in my arms felt so amazing. I didn’t want to let go but unfortunately I had to because of school. When she she was in my arms all night it felt like we fit together. Like we were clay molding together but the only thing was missing was each others love. Everything felt right with Alice. Like if I was mad and she was around I wouldn’t do anything because she was there. When Alice got out of the bathroom she looked stunning. She had a blue top with a black tank-top under neath and skinny jeans and a blue beanie.
“You okay Zach?” Alice asked me and I noticed that I was staring at her.
“Um.. Yeah i’m fine.” I say trying to sound as cool as possible. She nodded smiling and walked away leaving me to get ready. When I was done Jake head Alice up against a wall by her throat. My blood boiled at the sight and I marched over and pulled him off of her.
“What the hell are you doing!?” I yelled at him and grabbed Alice’s arms to hold her up.
“I was gonna kiss her but she refused.” He said.
“Jake are you drunk?” I asked harshly and he nodded smiling.
“If you wouldn’t have came out when you did I would have had my way with her!” He yelled and I walked over and punched him in the head. I turned and looked at Alice who was frightened as hell. I walked over and pulled her into my arms.
“Take me home” She said and I looked down at her when she looked up at me. I forward my eye brows and searched her eyes.
“Are you sure?” I asked and she nodded. After we got our stuff we went to her house and stayed there all day. Alice and I talked for a while before she fell asleep in my arms once again. I stayed up just in case her parents come home and freak out. It’s happened once or twice because I was over with Alex and her mother picked her up. Alice and I would always have the most fun when Alex left. We would just sit around and play little dumb games. I wonder how she’s going to react when I ask her to my party on Saturday.
“Zach?” I heard Alice say. I looked down at her and she looked at me with concern. I brushed the back of my fingers on her cheek.
“Yes?” I said and looked into her beautiful green eyes.
“Are you okay?” She asked and I started playing with her hair. I sighed and kissed the side of her head.
“Yeah i’m just thinking.” I said and she giggled.
“Yeah thinking out loud.” she said and I put my hand over my face and laughed.
“So you heard about the party?” I asked and she nodded.
“Kind of. So what about it?” She said and I shrugged.
“Well the party is actually for Valerie and Scott. Remember how Val is pregnant?” I asked and she nodded.
“Well Scott thought it would be nice to have one last party of fun for them before the baby is born.” I explained and she sighed.
“Do you want me to go?” She asked and I nodded eagerly. “Then i’ll go” She continued and I smiled wide.
“Thank you.” I whisper and kissed her forehead. “Oh you’re phone went off about an hour ago. I didn’t check it tho” I said and she leaned over and grabbed her phone. I watched as she typed away on her phone and when she stopped she let out a loud groan.
“What?” I looked at her and she put her phone down.
“My parent’s won’t be home for another week, because my sister is having some trouble.” She said and I kissed her head again.
“I can stay here if you want. I know you don’t want to go back to mine ‘cause of Jake” I sighed and felt her nod.
“Since they won’t be home do you want to go for a walk?” She asked and I nodded. I got up and she followed and stretched. I watched as she raked her fingers through her hair and shake through it. I smiled at her and she looked at me and blushed. Did she just...? I bite my lip and looked down at my feet. I heard her walk over to the door and put her shoes on. I picked my shoes up by the couch and slipped the on.
“Ready?” She said and opened the door. I nodded and followed right behind her. When we got to the road I took her hand in mine and intertwined our fingers. We walked for a while in silence until we got to the park. When we did she ran to the swings like a little girl. I laughed and went behind her and started to pushed her.
“So what are we going to do alone for the week?”
“I honestly don’t know. I can’t cook but I have some money so we can order take out.” she said and I laughed again.
“If we order take out then I am going pay not you.” I said and she laughed.
“Well aren’t you a gentlemen” She giggled and I stopped the swing and looked down at her. She looked up at me and I leaned down and kissed her forehead lightly. I pulled up and looked at her and smiled. She smiled back and it warmed my heart. I let go of the swing and sat on the one next to her.
“So what are we gonna order tonight?” I asked and she smiled.
“Can we please have Pizza?” She asked and I nodded.
“Wanna head to town? I need some stuff” I said and she shrugged.
“I don’t care.” She answered and I got up and took her hand.
“Come on i’ll carry you on my back” I said and she laughed.
“If you do I’ll break your back. See this?” She patted her tummy. “I’m fat.” She said and I flinched at her words. I got down on my knees and took her hands in mine.
“Alice Spencer Cromwell, don’t you ever call yourself fat. You are not fat. If I hear you call yourself fat one more time I... I don’t know what I will do” I said looking into her eyes. She looked back and nodded at me. I pulled her to me and hugged her. I felt her hug me back and her face went into my neck.
“Thank you Z. For everything that you have ever done for me. For being the best friend a person. You have know Idea what you have done for me. Thank you, so so much” She whisper and I squeezed her. I then pulled back and put my hands on her cheeks.
“Anything for you baby girl.” I said and kissed her head one more time, before getting up. When I started walking ahead of her. Soon I felt her jump on my back laughing.
“See. Light as a feather” We both laughed and wen’t back to her house.
