Chapter 22 ~ "Happy Birthday Genesis"

Genesis P.O.V

"Not so much!!" I groaned shaking my head. Sarah rolled her eyes

"Will you quit moving! If I mess up you'll end up looking like a clown!" Sarah shouted making me groan. At the moment Sarah was applying a ton of make up onto my face for my birthday party. Since my parents can never just have a simple party, they rented out a ball room to celebrate my birthday there. This meant that everyone had to go looking all elegant and what not. Hence why Sarah volunteered to put make up on me. 

"Are you done yet?!" I asked getting annoyed. She rolled her eyes

"I just need to do your eyelashes, then you can go ahead and put your dress on" Sarah said grabbing the mascara off of the table. I closed my eyes as she applied the mascara to my lashes. "So you excited?" Sarah asked. I sighed

"Yeah I guess...kinda nervous" I mumbled. She giggled

"Nervous? About what?" Sarah asked giggling. I shrugged

"You know how I get about parties...especially when it's MY party" I said once she finished applying the mascara. She studied my face and smiled

"Well no need to be nervous about your make up...you look GORGEOUS!" She said smiling wide. I giggled shaking my head. 

"What would I do without you" I said sarcastically. She giggled nudging me playfully. 

"Ready to put your dress on?" She said walking over to where my dress was hanging on. I sighed walking over to her.

"Do I have a choice?" I said rolling my eyes. She handed me the dress and I walked into my bathroom to put it on. I struggled a bit to actually get the dress on but once I did I stared at my reflection. It took me a moment to actually realize that it was me. I didn't look like myself

"Hey Gen you okay in there?" Sarah asked knocking on the door lightly. I took a deep breath opening the door. Sarah's eyes widened when she saw me.

"Gen! You look....." She said in awe. I sighed

"Silly" I mumbled. Sarah shook her head quickly.

"You look beautiful!!" She said with a nod. "Wait till everyone sees you....wait till DANA sees you" Sarah said with a smirk. I blushed slightly

"He has a girlfriend Sarah...he doesn't like me.." I mumbled walking into my room and opening my closet. I heard footsteps behind me

"Genesis, he said YOUR name in his sleep the day he was in the hospital!" Sarah shouted. I grabbed my black converse and turned to look at her.

"That doesn't mean anything Sarah.. I don't even think he's coming... it's his anneversary today" I said shaking my head. Sarah rolled her eyes

"Sure it does! He was thinking of YOU! Not Nicole! And so what if it's his anneversary...He cares about you..he's gonna come" Sarah said sitting on my bed. I sighed sitting on my bed and sliding my converse on.

"Wait are you seriously wearing converse to your party?!" Sarah asked with wide eyes. I giggled

"Sarah we've been through this, I don't do high heels" I said standing up and lifting my dress to stare at my shoes.

"You wore high heels to Dana's party" Sarah said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Well I had no choice..the dress I wore to Dana's party was high low...you could see my feet..with THIS dress" I said pointing to my dress "My feet are fully covered" I said with a smirk. Sarah groaned rolling her eyes. There was a knock on my door before it opened slowly.
