Raven P.O.V.
I stabbed the spatula underneath the sticky runny goo you would call "pancakes." I pulled and pulled until the "pancake" got unstuck to the stove. The other Titans watched in suspicion. I had never liked pancakes or ever tried making them. I served up the sticky runny pancakes saying, "Pancakes anyone?" It was my fault that their lives were in danger, so this was the least I could do.
"Thanks Rae!" Beast Boy said, "What's the special occasion?"
"Can I just do something nice for my friends?" I asked.
"Yeah. But you haven't before," Beast Boy said. Ouch. That hurt. I remembered when I used to have a crush on Beast Boy. It was a stupid mistake. He liked Terra. I honestly had no idea what I ever saw in him. Anyway, he noticed that he had hurt my feelings and he quickly covered it up and said, "Well, there's a first time for everything!" I secretly wasn't satisfied with this. The damage had already been done. They all took a bite out of their pancakes. Robin, Beast Boy and Cyborg looked a little green but Starfire enjoyed the pancakes. She didn't look like she was trying to be nice either! She genuinely enjoyed them to everyone's surprise.
"So.. after breakfast do you all want to.. hang out or something?" I asked forcing myself to smile. Everyone looked confused.
"Sure.." Beast Boy said, "But you never have before.." I felt a bit offended. Cyborg must've noticed that I was upset and said, "Yeah sure Raven!" I was really pissed at Beast Boy. Ever since Terra we hadn't been getting along at all. Why couldn't he be nice on the last day on Earth? I realized he didn't know it was the end of the world today. I cut him some slack.
Suddenly the crime alert alarms started going off. I started to sweat turning more pale than usual. I had trouble breathing and I was scared out of my mind. What if it was Slade here to capture me? Suddenly I heard the most relieving thing. Robin said, "It's Plasmus! Titans Go!" They all ran of as I calmed down. Star noticed my panic attack earlier and asked, "Are you ok Raven? You look like you have just seen the ghost."
"I'm ok Star. Thanks," I said. She is so sweet. And kind. And so green eyed instead of green skinned. Yes. I prefer green eyes.
What am I doing? The world is ending. I'll never see those eyes again.
