"McGarrett," Steve said as he answered his phone. "I'll be right there."
"So what do we have Danny?" Steve asked as they walked up to the crime scene.
"Well so far all we have is a gunshot victim." he replied.
"Do we know who our vic is?"
"No, right now he's a John Doe. Chin is running his prints." Danny answered as they walked up to the body.
"Our John Doe," Max said as he uncovered the body. Steve covered his eyes as soon as he saw him. "No, this can't be right." He said, shaking his head.
"What? Steve? What's wrong?" Danny said quickly.
"I've got to go." He said pulling out his phone as he climbed into his truck.
"What are you doing? Did you know our vic?" He asked.
"Let's just say our John Doe isn't a John Doe anymore." He replied as he drove off.
