Had I been blind
I wouldn’t wish to see you
Rather, I would wish to feel you around me constantly
If I was deaf
I wouldn’t choose to hear your voice whispering to me
Because I would be content looking deep into your eyes every single day
When words evade me, silenced by my fate
I’ll promise to keep a smile on my face
Even through tears, or soundless laughter, I will let my mind speak for myself
Had I fallen for you, loved you beyond control
I will not stop, I will not cease, I will not get hurt
Because beyond sight and sound, you saw the real me, as no one ever did
And you loved me wholly with your heart, nothing else but your pure heart
