*This is going to be a short chapter because I have a lot planned for the next chapter*
Nicki's POV
Well the concert's over and the boys killed it! Jacquees and Issa murdered the stage and Durante, B-Pace and Chris got everyone hype as well. We all decided to go to Waffle House then Jacquees' house afterwards since he lives close to it. We were all walking inside until Aja pulled me off to the side.
Me: Yeah wassup?
Aja: Well you didn't tell me and Bree what happened between you and Que when we left yall alone in the dressing room
Me: Well I was going to wait until we got home to tell yall
Aja: Well were alone now and you know my nosey ass can't wait so tell me
Me: What about Bree?
Aja: We'll tell her later on now spit some details!
Me: Okay! Well before your loud ass barged in the room he was about to kiss me
Aja: WHAT!?
Me: Shhh! There you go being all loud again!
Aja: Sorry its a habit but besides that what else happened?
Me: He finally told me the reason why hr didn't keep in touch with us
Aja: Really?! why?
Me: He said he didn't want me to get and also couldn't really handle a long distance relationship
Aja: Yeah but he still could have called!
Me: I know! and the reason is because he didn't want to hear from me or you guys that I was in a relationship so he wouldn't have to be heartbroken
Aja: Aww but I know you don't want to hear this but I think you and Que should wait a while before you guys should start a relationship
Now that's a shocker Aja honestly supported me Jacquees' relationship and has shipped us together ever since the 10th grade I wonder why she's changing her mind now
Me: Wait... WHAT!?
Aja: Lower your voice damn!
Me: Sorry but what you mean about wait before we start relationship?!
Aja: I'm just sayin how long has it been since you talked to Que?
Me: About a year but what does that- *G.C.O*
Aja: That's what, you just said its been almost a year since you guys talked to each other you don't know what could have happened in a year!
Me: I'm still not understanding
Aja: UGH! Look anything could have happend while you two were apart he could have start doing drugs,hanging around the wrong type of people, shoot he could have got a girl pregnant and have a baby by now Nicki!
Me: Que is not the type of person to do that Aja! and he would've told me!
Aja: Well guess what people change Nicki and things change its not like you two can start being bestfriends again hanging around Primetime Barbershop cause you know Que is turning into a superstar so who knows the next you will see him after he leaves again
Her words hurt but they were telling the truth its not like once we start going out I'm actually going to be able to spend time with him and what if Aja is right maybe he didn't keep his promise and stayed the same person that I've known since I was 13 years old.
Me: Maybe you're right
Aja: Look I'm not trying to keep you away from love I'm just saying give it some time and get to know him first before you put yourself in a relationship that might not work out
Aja walks back inside leaving me there thinking about what she said. Maybe me and Jacquees should stay friends for a liitle while before I actually start a relationship with him because I do want to see the kind of person he is instead of having to think about getting my heart broken because I rushed my way into love but I don't want to say "what if?" If me and Que were really made to be together. Ugh everyone's probably wondering where I'm at I should probably go inside, I have a lot of thinking to do
