Chapter2

Today is my first day of work, as soon as the last bell rang I rushed home. I have an hour to get ready, I have to look my best after all,it is my first day. I took a bath and started choosing from my few outfits what to wear, in the end I put on a pair of short jeans and a one - shouldered red top with red sneakers. It was 3:45pm when I took the bus and arrived five minutes early which gave me time to put on my name tag and learn the basic rule which was quit simple, there was only one rule "the customers are always right".

A woman with a beautiful white dress and blonde hair came in,I rushed to welcome her, and I was nervous. I showed her to her seat, then I stood next to her. I didn't know what I was doing , just standing there looking at her. Her face looks kind of familiar. She saw me and giggled

I will take the special with red wine please. Said the woman with a quit voice.

Sure I will be right back.

And I went to give the order to the chef. The manager was standing next to the bar, so I went to him and directly said

Who's that woman over there?

That my child is the owner of our restaurant and many others! Her name is Alexandra Blake

Alexandra Blake, the Alexandra Blake the one married to the most succesful business man! : I replied with a surprised voice

The one and only. : Said the manager so calmly. I wanted to ask more questions but the chef called saying the order was ready . I took the food, my hands shaking after all she is my boss.

Here is your food ma'am

Thank you dear: she replied with a sweet voice l. Suddenly her eyes grew wide, and some words came out of her wide open mouth barely understandable

Oh that, I've had it since I was a baby, my grandmother says it's from my birth parents, but I don't care, I just wear it because I feel like it is part of me. I can take it off if you don't like it. I said with a scared voice.

No, no I..I have to go! Excuse me.
And with that she left.

I didn't know what I did wrong, but I continued my work as if nothing happened, and earned my first 50$. I went home and found may grandmother sleeping so I just went to bed exhausted but with a smile on my face.
