There is a certain mystery behind a Wattpad writer.
You see their updates week after week
(with the exception of yours truly who's a bit of a procrastinator)
and you squeal with delight to read the next chapter and the next.
It isn't until they're a day late that you begin to wonder:
what are they doing? Where is my story? What's their problem?
There are some authors who are public about their outside lives,
assuring readers that it was just a bad day or it was just the homework.
But there are others we really don't know about.
Maybe it was their birthday today, or maybe high school graduation.
At the same time it could have been a relative in the hospital, or a car accident.
How much do we really know about these mystery writers hiding behind their
screens and laptops. Because beyond every word written on this site
is a mind full of thoughts, new stories, creativity and ideas.
There are also the struggles and the strivings in each life pulling and pushing them
forwards and backwards, feeding their fingertips as they pass along the keyboard.
