He didn't hear me come outside, so I walked down the steps and placed my hand on his shoulder. When he spun around, ready to hit whoever disturbed him, I grabbed his face and kissed him.
When I pulled away, he looked at me, stunned. "You mean--"
I nodded, already starting to cry.
"Oh my god," he breathed, hugging me. "I thought I had lost you again."
He spun me around in circles while I cried. When he set me down he wiped away my tears with his thumbs, looking into my eyes.
"I love you so much and I don't know why I ever let you go."
He hugged me again, tighter than he had before.
"I don't know why I let you go either," I said.
He kissed me once, twice, three times.
"What do you say we go get married, huh?" I said, wiping the smeared mascara off my cheeks.
He smiled at me. "Of course."
Heyyyyy!!!! I thought you guys deserved an update since I haven't posted in so long! Sad news, this story is ending very soon :( there's gonna be one more chapter then an epilogue. Thanks for sticking with me!!!
