16. Mission X

Aarti's POV
We entered the fruit chamber. We went near a tree to take apples... there was an orange tree too so this time we decided to go there and take some oranges, because it was so boring to eat apples everyday.

We went there and took some oranges.

"Apko konsa phal pasand he?" Rohit asked suddenly.

"Bananas aur tumhe?" I questioned back.

"Hamara mango he" he answered. I smiled.

There was an awkward silence between us. We finished and started walking back to the house without saying a word. I wanted to start the conversation but I didn't know how. I looked at him. He was already looking at me, I quickly lowered my eyes. He smiled at me.

"Mohtarma jo kehna he keh dijiye... isme itni sharmane ki koi baat nhi he" he said with his million dollar smile. I smiled back.

"Kuch nhi kehna mujhe" I said.

"Chalo... phir ham hi kuch keh dete he... Mohtarma, jabse ham apse mile he tabse hamari zindaghi puri tarah se badal gayi he. Ham raat ko so nhi pate bas har pal apke bare me hi sochte rehte he..." he said. My eyes widened...

"Ham apse kuch dino se kehna chahte thi ki ap hamare liye bohot zada khas he... hame nhi pata tha ki yeh safar hame itna khubsurat tohfa dega. Ap sabse khubsurat, alag aur anokhi he... bas itna hi kehna tha ki ham a...apse..." he stopped. I could see that he was nervous. He sat on his knees. I was so shocked I couldn't believe that thus was going to happen.

"Mohtarma... ham apse mohobbat karte he..." he said taking out a ring made of grass... I smiled.

"Oh my god!!! Rohit me bohot khush hu... lekin... tumhe nhi lagta sab kuch bohot jaldi ho raha he? Hame yaha par ek dusre se baat karne ka moka nhi mila... mujhe thoda wakt chahiye... hame ek dusre ko acche se jaana chahiye... I'm sorry" I said disappointingly. His face didn't fell.

"Bas itni si baat... ham intazar kar sakte he apke liye... hame koi etraz nhi he apko jitna wakt chahiye utna lijiye" he said getting up. I smiled and hugged him. It was obviously unexpected to him but he hugged me back. I slowly broke the hug.

"Chale?" He asked. I slightly nodded. We walked to the house.

When we arrived we saw that Diksha and Zaan were already waiting for us... they prepared the bags.

"Yaar kitna wakt laga diya tum logo ne" Diksha complained.

"Ab wakt toh lagta hi he na..." I said.

"Toh kab jana he?" Zaan asked.

"Abhi aur kab?" We all said in unision. After a second we all burst in laughing.

"Chalo phir chalte he" Zaan said.

"Map le li?" I asked.

"Arey uske baare me toh bhul hi gaye!" Diksha said slapping her forehead. She took the map and came back.

"Bhulakad" I said to her. Everyone chuckled and she gave me a death glare. I smiled. We got out of the house.

"Ok... toh ab agar ham yaha se sidhe jaenghe toh ham jaldi pohonch jayenghe" Zaan said showing the map to us.

"Lekin yeh rasta yoh bohot dangerous lagta he... lava tube, glacier chamber, lava chamber, black hole, metal chamber, salt chamber, sponge chamber and finally the X point" Diksha red the names. They looked like they were very dangerous.

"Lekin yaha par kuch dot points he... iska matlab he yeh dots explore nhi hue he abhi tak" I said.

"Hame yahi raste se jana hoga... nhi toh hame bohot zada wakt lagega." Rohit said. We agreed and started walking straight. We continued to walk...

In India...
Boss' POV:
I was trying to call Rohit to ask if they were ok or not. But he wasn't picking up. I was so worried for them. They didn't call me from 5 days. I need to do something. I hope they are fine. I called my assistant.

"Apne bulaya Boss?" He asked.

"Haan... mene Diksha, Zaan, Aarti aur Rohit ko ek mission par bheja tha 5 din pehle. Woh log mera phone nhi utha rahe he tab se. I am so worried." I said.

"Lekin Boss apne un logo ko kaha bheja aur kya karne bheja?" He asked.

"Mene unhe South Africa me bheja ek fossil ko dhundne ke lie. Waha par ek cave he... Sterkfontein Cave. Waha gaye he woh..." I explained.

"Oh my god! Boss woh jagah tih bohot khatarnak he!" He said in panick.

"Lekin kyu?" I asked him worryingly.

"Boss waha par aaj tak jo bhi gaya he woh wapis nhi aya... mujhe dar he ki kahin..." he left his sentence incomplete. I became scared.

"Ab kya hoga Shankar?!" I said.

"Boss apne unko akele kyu bheja unke saath kisi aur logon ko bhi bhejna tha unki security ke liye..." he said disappointingly.

"Mujhse bohot badi galati ho gayi... mene lalach me aa kar yeh kya kar diya... ab kya hoga!" I said to myself.

"Boss ab toh ek hi rasta bacha he..." Shankar said. I looked at him.

"Ap senior staff se baat kijiye aur unse madat manghiye... ab wihi hamari madat kar sakte he..." he suggested.

"You are right Shankar. Ab mujhe unse hi madat mangni hoghi. Wait me abhi unhe phone karta hu..." I said dialing the number on my phone.
