That next morning I wake up later than normal, 10:34 am. It's Sunday and today instead of going mountain biking, Josh and I go to the shopping center or better known as the mall. Up until this summer, Skye would also join us, but sadly she can't anymore. I don't bother changing out of my pajamas and go straight downstairs to get something to eat. When I enter the living room I am faced with something odd... Josh and my suitcases. "Josh!" I yell not taking my eyes off the cases. "Yes?" He questioned walking from the dining room to the living room where I stood. "Why?" I ask simply, turning my head to look at him and pointing to the bags. "Oh didn't you hear?" I raise an eyebrow at him. "We're gonna need them, you know, for when we visit Skye next week." Everything stopped and my jaw dropped. "What?!" "Surprise!" I laugh and jump to hug him. "You asshole." He laughs knowing that I don't mean it in a mean way. "We're leaving Friday, so you best get ready for a country getaway!" Josh put his arms around, to emphasize how big this is. I laugh at him once again, Josh isn't just a stepbrother or a brother... he's my best friend.
