"CONGRATULATIONS Hexel." Bati ng kanyang lola sa kanya pagpasok niya sa opisina nito. "You did it again and this time I heard you really impressed the board." Anito habang siya ay umupo lang sa sofa at tinanggal ang sapatos na may mahabang takong sa kanyang mga paa.

"Thanks Grandmy, I can't do it without your guidance." She replied and laid her body over the sofa. She's too tired to think and to talk, all she wanted is to sleep for a while and she did. Mabuti at hindi siya ginising ng lola niya, she doesn't need food or anything just sleep.

Napagod siya dahil hindi naging madali sa kanya ang makuha ang business project na iyon, dahil iyon kay Clive. He wasn't there but she feels like he was there. First time niyang naranasan kung paano makipaglaban ang isang Clive Libiran, it was frustrating and demanding. Sa lahat ng mga nadaluhan niyang business meetings and proposals ito iyong pinakanakakapagod. She never laid all her alas to anyone but today she needs to do it.

He didn't know she existed that's for sure, everyone in the business world never uttered her name. It's always her grandmy's name because she's the grand daughter and she wanted it that way.

He is indeed ruthless, he doesn't show mercy, lahat ay handa nitong ibigay pero alam niyang may baraha pa itong nakatago. He will always be steps ahead of her but she won't let him win without a fight. Akala nga niya ay katapusan na niya kanina, akala niya ay talo na siya pero nanalo pa rin siya. She's walking in a tight rope and she can even feel it up to this moment.

"That child." Napatingin siya sa kanyang lola habang nakahiga. "Is he really that brilliant?"

A sly smile appeared on her lips. "Gran, he's a monster in the business world."

"In order for you to succeed my child you need to be a monster too, a devil."

"I don't want to."

Malungkot na ngumiti ang lola niya sa kanya. "But you are mold to be one Hollier, you were born to a devil in the boardroom."

"No one can predict my future gran."

Her grandmother just gave her a knowing look, ayaw niyang isipin na tama ito but deep inside her something's big is boiling up and she is doing her best to keep it inside even if it hurts.

TININGNAN lang niya si Ainsley at si Chloe, she was surprised by their news.

"Huh?"

"Sama ka house, Hex. Sasama rin ang ibang girls gusto kang makita ni mama adik kaya iyon sa magaganda. Despidida party ni kuya Clive ngayon."

"Despedida? Aalis ang kuya mo?"

Sunod-sunod na tumango si Ainsley. "He is going to continue his MA sa London, pumayag na si daddy sa request niya." Bumuntong-hininga ito. "Sasamahan lang naman niya doon ang bruhang girlfriend niyang si Tara na mag-aaral din."

May kung anong masakit na naramdaman siya sa loob ng dibdib niya ng marinig ang sinabi nito. It's not really painful, it's just bugging her a little. Aalis si Clive it means hindi na sila magkikita pa, as if naman palagi silang nagkikita. After her birthday ay hindi na muling nagkrus ang landas nila at gusto niyang makita ulit ito.

Masama ba kung aaminin niya na humahanga siya sa kapatid ni Ainsley? It's a simple crush lang naman for sure hindi naman siya nag-iisa, humahanga siya dahil sa galing nito sa trabaho nito. Not everyone of his age can achieve what he had at saka hindi rin niya maintindihan kung bakit nagkacrush pa siya dito, it could be because of his looks or his gestures, ay ewan basta iyon na. At palagi din niyang inaalala sa sarili na may girlfriend na ito at maaaring hindi na nito pakakawalan ang girlfriend nito. They've been together for years!
