I pick out a black mid length dress With a skirt attached to it The top is sheer I slip on black heels to match I curl my hair & leave it loose Suddenly as I finish doing my makeup My phone buzzes I answer it quickly "Hello?" "Omg Ziah! I got big news.." "Can it wait? I have a date.." "finally! The 3 year drought is finally over!" She exclaims I fake a laugh "Haha very funny" I say sarcastically & roll my eyes "Hey! Cmon 3 years it was since that nasty breakup" she says "True..he was something else though.." "He" is my ex Justin We dated for a year happily Until a new girl came into his life & showed me something I couldn't A new life for himself. Justin wanted to be a singer The girl he met was born into a rich family. He started messing up by having her as the "side chick" I knew none of this at the time She had long blonde hair Crystal blue eyes almost like the ocean Her skin was fair & she had freckles She was very fit & went to gym almost everyday of her life Meanwhile I struggled to walk in one.. I had to pay for my college tuition since my mom lives in Jersey & can't drive back & forward from Jersey to New York All of the time.. To help my bills I found work as a editor for Star Magazine It helped a lot of the bills But still I struggled inside..with my own inner issues.. My father is my actual stepfather My dad died when I was a infant when he was killed in a work accident My "father" aka my stepfather has been with me since I was a 1 year old I love him dearly but I do wish I knew my dad better.. My mom loved him a lot & had my older sister & brother before me with my dad. It wasn't like my dad was a bad man.. He was a good man.. He cared a lot..sorta of what I do.. I snap out of my trance "OMG Zoe I gotta go!" I say realizing the time "Okay bye girl!" She says We hang up & I rush down the staircase I reach the last step & see Nate waiting with flowers He smiles "My god..you look stunning" he says & spins me slowly around I giggle & blush "I'm so glad you picked me over Gilinsky..how did he take it?" He asked "He was a bit upset but understood." I say He lifts my chin up with his finger "It's all about us tonight." He says & wraps his arm around my waist "Let's go.." He says & we get in a cab ~at the party~ All eyes are on us as music bumps throughout the whole club He has his arms around me tightly I'm sitting on his lap & playing on my phone He snatches my phone out of my hands "Hey!" I whine "It's our date!" He says & places the phone in his pocket I sigh & he cups my face "I'm gonna go get some drinks" "No thanks I have work on Monday." I say "Aww fine I'll order beers" I give him a raised eyebrow look "Beer don't get you drunk" "Lies" I say rolling my eyes playfully "But whatever fine" He goes to order beers As I'm sitting waiting for his return A cute stranger sits next to me "Hey beautiful..a girl like you shouldn't be alone" he says smirking I smile "Well..I'm actually with someone" I say pointing to Nate Who's across at the bar Who's not seeing us since his back is turned "I'm Cameron Dallas..you?" He says shaking my hand "Ziah Jones." I say "Pretty name for a pretty girl" he says & slightly bites his lip I get all tingly & that's when Nate grabs my shoulder "Hey babe I got us our- cameron?" I ask in complete shock "How about we go to Times Square? Huh? Times Square beats this place anytime" he says I nod & grab his hand As we walk out of the club I whisper in his ear "You're such a jealous butt" I say He smirks & I smack his ass He turns around with a evil smile on his face "Aw shit." I mumble under my breath He lifts me up & carries me off while I'm screaming ~at Times Square~ We're on Broadway & looking around the shops I'm eating some ice cream "We should watch this!"
